This was the top of an eggnog coffee cake I baked last night. Oozing with deliciousness! Made with Wildowsky Diary eggnog.
Quality Creek flows out of the hills near Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. There is a series of small waterfalls, with this being the most accessible. The hike to the falls is a very easy, enjoyable walk through a mixed spruce and pine forest where you may encounter a variety of birds and animals. Just remember to bring your bear spray along, just in case you come across grizzly or black bears or a cougar.

Not the best quality picture, as I was far away but I liked the flying droplets and the slightly ecstatic look of Mr. Blackbird :)
The quality not so good, but a great inter-action I don't see very often.. So Maxine knocked the Willet out of the sky into the water, circled around a couple of times and scooped him up out of the water. So on the way back to shore a gull saw opportunity for a free meal, so doing what gulls do best, he tried to steal it. Was a nice try, but Maxine won the day and took her prize back to her cliff-side dwelling to enjoy a well deserved meal.

La maison en dessous de l'image est le musée Guido Gezelle, poète flamand du 19ème siècle, fait partie des figures majeures de la littérature belge. Étudiant au grand séminaire de Bruges, il est ordonné prêtre et enseigne aux étudiants. Le flamand n’est pas une langue considérée comme noble et pourtant le jeune professeur commence à écrire ses premiers vers en néerlandais. Pour avoir défendu les plus faibles, ses supérieurs lui imposent une des paroisses les plus pauvres de la région. Il retourne finalement à Bruges en 1889 ou il y reste jusqu’à sa mort dix années plus tard.
Reconnu de son vivant pour la qualité de ses poésie, Guido Gezelle a cumulé les honneurs à partir de 1886. En 2012, la ville de Bruges l’a déclaré plus grand héros de Bruges et sa maison natale est transformée en musée depuis 1926.
Le musée Guido Gezelle (Gezellemuseum), situé à l’Est de la ville non loin d’un moulin au sein d’un quartier populaire et tranquille est complété d’un jardin romantique ou on imagine très bien le poète travaillant à l’ombre des grands arbres. La maison qui accueille le musée est une batisse rustique et fonctionnelle du 16ème siècle. Le père du poète y travaillait comme jardinier pour le compte d’un important commerçant de la ville. Guido y a donc vécu de nombreuses années et la nature, thème cher à ses écrits a certainement été inspiré par le jardin attenant.

The Guido Gezelle Museum (Gezellemuseum), located to the east of the city not far from a mill in a popular and quiet area, is complemented by a romantic garden where you can easily imagine the poet working in the shade. tall trees. The house that hosts the museum is a rustic and functional building from the 16th century. The poet's father worked there as a gardener for an important merchant in the city. Jet lagged, I woke up early, and started an hike before sunrise up the mountain from my hometown Schuders, located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. I reached the top of the mountain ridge shortly after sunrise.
I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

I got invited to take photos at the movie premiere of Aimuldir – The Soul of a Burkitshi, a heart warming story of a small girl who became an eagle huntress in Mongolia. The short film by director Oliver Klink and producer Jackson Nichols was screened at an art gallery in Palo Alto, California. Returning to the car after the event, Oliver and Jackson discussed the feedback they got on the film.
