Quality Creek flows out of the hills near Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. There is a series of small waterfalls, with this being the most accessible. The hike to the falls is a very easy, enjoyable walk through a mixed spruce and pine forest where you may encounter a variety of birds and animals. Just remember to bring your bear spray along, just in case you come across grizzly or black bears or a cougar.
Excerpt from ontarioconservationareas.ca/conservation-areas/rockway/:
Part of the Niagara Escarpment and offers history and beauty in a remote setting. Hike the trail into the Fifteen Mile Creek valley to experience mature Basswood, Sugar Maple, Black Walnut and Sycamore trees.
Two spectacular waterfalls plunge from heights of 19.5 meters and 12.2 meters. The watercourse continues downriver, surging over a series of rapids. Boasting some of the best quality and quantity of salt in Ontario, the salt spring dates as far back as 1792.
This maybe the Lower Rockway Falls. I am not sure.

dijital müdahale yoktur. fotoğraf çok karanlık bir ortamda çekildiği için iso ve pozlama süresi yüksek tutulmuştur, fotoğraftaki hakim kızıl ton da bu sebeptendir...

We went to see Hanami, the cherry blossoms at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. It was an enchanting experience to walk at night below cherry trees in full blossom, and along other trees.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

We headed to beautiful Santa Cruz, located at the California coast across the hill from the Silicon Valley. Sunset was at 241° WSW, so we went to the Twin Lakes State Beach to get a direct line of sight of the sun behind the Walton Lighthouse. Kids were playing at the blue hour next to the reflection of the lighthouse.

On the first day of the year we went to my hometown Schuders, located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. Based on an old tradition, a woman from the village visits the neighboring house to wish a happy new year, and to receive Röteli, a homemade sweet liquor, and Batschella, a fluffy sweat bread. Then she continues with the woman of that house to the next house to do the same, and so on. Men gather in groups as well to go from house to house. The houses are some distance apart, so the later the afternoon and evening gets, the happier the mood, and the more challenging the walking or sledding from house to house gets.
