The Pyongyang Subway is one of the world's deepest and has some vintage carriages.

This picture was taken from the balcony of the Grand People's Study House library. It was a warm, sunny day, and polluted as usual.

The Pyongyang Folklore Park is a brand new attraction in the city: a version of the country in miniature, with models of many famous buildings old and new. However, unlike many other 'World Parks' around the world, there was nothing on display from outside the DPRK.

 

Here is a model of the massive Ryugyong Tower (complete with three structural engineers for scale) - quite a work of engineering in its own right. You can see the real Ryugyong Tower from the park (though sadly not from this particular part of it).
