The Largest Hotel in North Korea (Bar the Ryugyong that's 25 years in the making)... The lifts took hours to arrive, the showers gave you third degree burns and there was a brothel in the basement. But they did serve fried eggs for breakfast!
The tour guides call the island that this hotel is on 'Alcatraz' for obvious reasons! :)

An old-fashioned Pyongyang street lined with yellow-tiled blocks and willows. It shows the drowsy atmosphere which is so typical of this un-metropolitan metropolis.
