Unlike South Korea, personal ownership of automobiles in Pyongyang is very rare. North Koreans rely mainly on public transport. The most common mode of transportations are subway and tram - bought from Prague.

I think she was the only one I saw actually standing in a circle this time. Most of them were standing near the side of the road instead.

Looking out of the coach window, I didn't know it at the time but I'd be travelling over the bridge in view a few times over the week ahead !
Trolley buses have a big advantage over trams: they can be overtaken when they break down, which they seem to do very often.
