羊角島国際ホテルの窓から眺める平壌中心部の朝。ホテルは大同江の中州である羊角島に建つ。地上42階建て、この国の特級ホテルに位置づけられている。

One of the most ornate stations in the system, and therefore a frequent stop on visitors' itineraries, this station is located next to the Koryo Hotel. Most visitors terminate there, very few are being allowed to ride any further, most likely because the other stations are far less stunning.

There were a lot of trucks on the square as part of the new year agricultural campaign to collect fertilizer.

At Pyongyang airport, North Korea, the cabin of the Air Koryo Tupolev 134, on which we had a "joyride."

Trolley bus storage?

With more traffic lights now being utilized for traffic control in Pyongyang, in those intersections the traffic ladies will stand near the curb and use a remote controller (here in her left hand) to change the stop lights. But they remain ready to rush out and direct traffic manually if the traffic lights stop working.

Presumably the trolley bus wires come down when the square hosts the vast parades and rallies it's famous for.
