With everything going on at the time, I didn't find many opportunities to get out and photograph. This one morning I found a few minutes and set about finding some images. The composition in this photograph I'd roughly sketched in my mind before heading out - I knew that some of the tree limbs were dangling in the high water and I was hoping to turn the flailing leaves and rushing water into some interesting abstracts.
We were very lucky in that I only had to worry about if I was going to be able to get to work or not on a given day.
Many others lost a lot due to these torrential rains and my thoughts go out to them.

Since the 1980s UVa has been expanding its crown jewel teaching hospital, but rather than relocating to the edge of town where the impact on density and traffic could be lessened, they chose to just grow like a centralized blob, swallowing neighborhoods and a large chunk of West Main Street. Never made a damn bit of sense to me but then, urban planning in Charlottesville is kind of a myth, anyway. Money talks and the rest of y'all - especially poorer black residents - better keep walking.

I heard you like Kala Namak so while I was cooking with Kala Namak I took a picture of Kala Namak and toned it in Kala Namak or Himalayan Black Salt.

Uncertain why both walkers were moving in relative lockstep. To be honest, I wasn't looking for much longer; not with snow pouring over my glasses.
Tri-X @ 1600 in HC-110. Really happy with how my initial test rolls with HC-110 came out (though in retrospect, it wasn't wise to start with a push-- and two rolls in the same tank).
