The library hosted an exciting puppet show called Puppet Commotion put on by Nitsana Lazarus! She brought in an impressive collection of puppets and entertained the two groups of children.
This pattern was the 1st one that I cut from O+S (over 1 year ago - glad I cut 2T)... For a number of reasons, I never seem to finish it (still need to add bottons to the sleeves) but the fact is that I really love the way it will turn out (soon, I hope)...

Seeing as summer has finally arrived, might as well upload a few more from last weeks English Heritage photo-shoot at the soon to be opened beach at Osborne, Isle of Wight.
"A section of beach once reserved exclusively for Queen Victoria is to open to the public for the first time on 27 July 2012. Queen Victoria regularly bathed at the site near East Cowes while many of her children also learned to swim there."

Jean Kuecher brought a delightful puppet show to the library to entertain the children. She told four stories including several different kinds of puppets, including some that glowed under a black light!
