Chokbilmish is a little puppet who presents "I want to know everything" puppetshow for kids ;)

Made in a 2T for my youngest daughter.

The shorts are made from linen and were a slippery nightmare to sew. The fabric did not want to do what it was told. I am please with the end result though.

The shorts have a blue running stitch on the pocket binding to match the tunic. I am still not sure whether to stitch this onto the leg cuffs, or if that would be overkill. Any opinions?

Oliver + S Hopscotch Tee & Puppet Show Bloomers Set.

I made this set for my dear friend's daughter, Sydney, on her 3rd birthday.

The knit is a printed stripe...which was printed crooked...arg! I added a Little Wish Bunny appliqué from Urban Threads in some chambray that I had leftover from Ruby's Bubble dress.

Spring is back at Pataphysical Studios, where we spent another lovely Saturday afternoon, making art together and exploring new dimensions across space and time.

This week, we developed our Time Machine and started work on our new Dada exhibit:

• Dr. Rindbrain showed a new mockup for the Time Machine viewing frame

• Dr. Max and his family came to experience the magic of the art garden

• Dr. Canard posed by the pataphysical flag and sanded her music box

• Dr. Phylora picked up her new pataphysical badge and caught up with the group

• Dr. Truly brought blank canvases and art ideas for the new Dada exhibit she is producing

• Dr. Tout d’Suite picked the Alfred Jarry canvas as her art project for the Dada exhibit

• Dr. Fabio picked the Gidouille canvas and worked on the Crazy Clock prototype

• Dr. Canard picked the Eye/Hand canvas as her art project for the Dada exhibit

• Dr. Figurine picked the Apostrophe canvas and worked on her theramine

• Dr. Skidz picked the Ubu canvas and pitched a duck phone for the Dada exhibit

• The Queen of the Desert shared her research on Dada and time travel

• Drs. Rindbrain, Really and Igor installed the back wall for the Time Machine

• Dr. Fabio showed Dr. Canard how to shoot a video interview with Dr. Rindbrain

• Drs. Zboon, Fabio and Figurine discussed a puppet show for the Dada Exhibit

Making art with friends brings new light into our lives and brightens the world around us.

I'm going to be true to what I want to do, because if I care what people think about me, I'm a puppet. Which I have been in my life. And you can't live life that way, man!

Suzanne Menard, Bristol, during a workshop with puppeteer Rob Laughlin on Saturday at the New Britain Youth Museum. Menard used puppets while running a day car for over 35 years in the city of New Britain and has passed on the interest to her grandchildren, sisters Sasha and Tatianya Bastian and their cousin Jonathan Kelly.

The Puppet Lady, Nitsana Lazarus, was back with lots of puppets and fun in her new show, Traveling Puppets!

Puppet show at City Palace.

Given to children in Asbury Park, NJ. I haven't seen one of these in such a long long time. I was surprised at how entranced the kids were.

Simple, brief and uninspiring puppet shows are performed every hour weeknights and weekends at Casa Bonita.

Casa Bonita, located at 6715 West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, is the last remaining location of a former small chain of Mexican-themed "entertainment" restaurants which was started by Bill Waugh in Oklahoma City in 1968. The Lakewood location opened in 1974 and survived two corporate sales and a spinoff before being designated a historic landmark of the city in 2015. Seating over 1,000 people at a time, Casa Bonita features strolling mariachis, a puppet theater, multiple arcades, a haunted tunnel, and a large 30-foot centerpiece waterfall with cliff divers. Casa Bonita was prominently featured in a Comedy Central South Park episode named, "Casa Bonita."

I have put a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, tights and boots.

Do you think this makes a difference?

I love the winter look of this dress and I think that there seems to be less bulk

I made this sweet little dress for (soon to be) 3 year old Allie, the daughter of a friend of mine www.flickr.com/photos/emedoodle/ . Her favorite color is violet and she loves handmade dresses so I knew what to make her and easily decided to make the adorable Puppet Show Dress from a pattern by Oliver and S. This was my first time making this pattern and I have to say I am very pleased with the finished product. I used quite a few pins to make sure that the sleeves attached correctly but in the end they were beautiful and worth the extra fuss. I had NO PROBLEM making all 9 button holes on this little sweetie as I have switched from using my machine's automatic buttonholer to the manual setting (much more control is better in this area). I can see many more of these in my future! If you would like to see pictures of Allie in the dress hop on over here www.flickr.com/photos/emedoodle/5965563328/in/photostream/ thanks Emily for taking great pics of your cute girlie :)

Jaipur, India: I had the pleasure of watching a puppet show at my hotel, the Raj Palace, during my evening there. l loved their costumes - try looking at it large.

These puppets are string marionettes and were controlled by the head puppeteer. He used a device made of bamboo reed in order to make the shrill voices of the puppets. Another man played a form of bongo drum to go along with the story being told.
