Decided to buy some Derwent Pencils water-soluble sketching pencils to experiment with during #inktober2016. Today's #inktober official prompt was "scared," and this was my first attempt at using these pencils. Looking forward to doing more experimenting!
Did they really mean perfunctorily? As in "don't take it personally if we tow you, because we'd be doing it mechanically, carelessly, indifferently, out of a sense of duty?"

The ceiling in one of the rooms at Graceland. Fabric covered the walls and ceiling of this room. All I could think about was how it looked so tacky and dated. Everything was so old and nothing NEW. Frozen in time. What would people think about my decorating choices 30 years from now. I couldn't bear to take pictures of the items in the room. But, I wanted to frame a section of the ceiling. If you remove everything else in the room, I think it looks pretty cool.
