Prompt #8 from Janel of "Run with Scissors" Journal prompts
Journal Prompt 9: Choose another person who is vert significant in your life right now. It can definitely be the same person that we wrote about on day 3, but I chose to do someone different. Anyway, this prompt is going to be all about those wonderful adjectives, and typography. Describe your special person with as many words as you can fit. For each word, try to use a different font or writing style. This is a great way to practice fun typography!
I chose to do the same person I did for Prompt 3 which is my boyfriend, Darrell.
Somehow I receive so much color this week. Today my friend brought these lovely orange tulips. I fell in love with the purple wrap though.

Today's prompt of "my style" I thought of either scrapping the embarrassing style from high school or I have always seen my mom smock little dresses for babies (cousins, friends, co-workers). She is very good at it and I look forward to the day when she makes them for Shaelynn. This layout is was quite bitter to do after I phoned her up to ask her how many she made for me when she told me that it was Grandma (dad's mom" who made them). She refused to teach my mom, saying it "would be too difficult for her to learn". This would be why I have not visited my only living grandparent since 2000. The constant hurt that she did to my mom and to me. Because mom was "from the wrong side of the tracks". Ok, done and moving on.

Used Dylusions spray inks on Heidi Swapp Color Magic paper. Cut eggs from pieces of scraps with Slice and Dilly Dally design card. Title using Thickers I've had in my stash since 2009-ish? Traced around eggs with marker for a little pop.
