I left mum's camera on a train but she's got a new one now so I've had a bit of catching up to do with the photo prompts. This one is Double.
1st Annual Kenneth Barlis Fashion Show to Feature International Designers and Fashion Models in San Diego San Diego, CA (DATE) -- Preparations are underway for the 1st Annual Kenneth Barlis Fashion Show at the Port Pavilion Pier in San Diego, CA on Friday, August 30, 2013. The red carpet and VIP arrivals will begin promptly at 5 pm followed by the general attendees at 6 pm. The show is set to begin at 7 pm. The highlight of the evening will be the 2014 Spring/Summer collection of Kenneth Barlis.
Featuring several international designers, the show is anticipated to bring out the elite of the fashion world. In a continuous effort to increase brand recognition and exposure, Designer and Show Producer, Kenneth Barlis says, “I have high expectations for this show. I want to show the world that San Diego can be a major destination when it comes to style and fashion. I plan to see trendy, chic and swanky designs on the runway and the guests in attendance. I look forward to working with the various designers and businesses involved.” Sponsors for the evening include M Beauty by Dr. Tess Mauricio, HS Catering, Enjet Media, Bellus Academy, and Mabuhay Newspaper.
The fashion show will showcase collections from brands such as Camille Wood by Camille Wood, Love Is A Devil by Alana Crain and Shari Ellis, Allen Huang by Allen Huang, nOia by Evelyne Aguilar and Kenneth Barlis by Kenneth Barlis. The host for the evening will be Ashley Henshaw from The Hunger Games.

For my Craft of Fiction class, we have to write in the point of view of either one of these characters. However, I have to in the opposite sex -- so from the man's POV. OR, I can write as if I'm "a fly on the wall" (third person). Oy.
Also, I must only write whatever in 250-300 words.
I don't know what the real story behind this photo is. The man looks kinda like James Dean though. Anyone familiar with this photograph?

The school pic is from 4th grade, The one of my brother and I was during my fifth grade and used here because it represents those conversations that siblings have, the other is during 6th grade. I added the other two for the representation of the social circle. The old Calvin & Hobbes comic strip addresses the sarcasm in our lives and because the Mother on the floor reminds of some of the odd and totally funny words and situtations that we found ourselves in as a family.
I used a small bit of foreign text to convey the back and forth of our words and how they 'go forth' into the world.
