The last few weeks I seem to be too late with a lot of things, notice things too late. It isn't that I am not interested. Just the opposite. Wanting to do a lot of things at the same time means that it is hard to focus.
I thought it would be a good thing to think about what 'too late' means and how to portray that.
This is what I came up with. Oops! I was too late to catch this glass from falling. Luckily it didn't break.
cast iron pot. My grandparents sold these at the small grocery store they owned. It's at least 30 years old, probably more. I love having things that hold my family history.
Photographing unnoticed is hard. I feel a bit awkward when doing it, afraid that someone will notice (suddenly the shutter makes a lot of noise), and also it is not easy to get an interesting shot.
Tonight I was at a wine bar enjoying a glass of good wine and the sunny weather. There were a lot of people outside having fun together. I tried to photograph from underneath the tabletop. This is what came out. (Together with shots of only the table leg in focus :-D).
Love all the different shoes.

On Lefkas I found these giants of Bougainville. They were almost trees. Early in the morning I sneaked out to photograph the Bougainville of our landlady.

I wanted a shot of this goose with a Canada Goose for comparison, but it promptly sat down and fell asleep. It was half the size of the CG, with short neck and small bill.

Our kitchen is a beautiful and cosy place where we spend a lot of hours. It is very very dark though. To bring some color into it I bought some bright and colorful dishtowels earlier this year. The colors and patterns reminded me of flowers and I got the urge to do something creative. I created the ‘Artificial Flower Collection’.
Yes, it's baby food. I love it, and it's only 77 calories...
I think this all started when Minnie was small, and was curious about everything that I was eating. I'd show her and say, "you won't like it Min, it's chocolate" and she promptly proved me wrong by manically slurping my proffered chocolate pudding covered finger. She has had a passion for chocolate baby pudding ever since, and can tell the sound of a can being opened at 500 yards.
Obviously I don't give her very much, and she doesn't get it that often, but she has never forgotten that sweet chocolatey taste...
