I am participating in Folded Word's writing month event, called "24/7," during August. Participants spend the first 24 days of the month writing short works, then spend the final week in revisions. The second part of this entry gives more details.
I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 14 is to write a divination-themed prose poem that uses death. You can read the piece here.

4me4you features the artist VLADINSKY - ‘DESIRE & DISTORTION’.
Artist: VLADINSKY
Exploring the captivating world of HOFA Gallery, our recent visit led us to the thought-provoking works of the talented artist VLADINSKY. His artistic journey delves deep into the intricacies of humanity grappling with its environment, casting a profound impact on the human psyche and prompting reflection on our coexistence in today's complex social landscape.
VLADINSKY boldly asserts that the current threat of repression has diminished the power of expression. In response, he channels his spontaneity, relinquishing control to the paintbrush and allowing it to dictate the outcome on canvas. This surrender to the creative process adds a unique and dynamic dimension to his compositions, reflecting a powerful commentary on the challenges faced by human expression in our contemporary society.
"Elevate yourself by observing the revealing of a new human into modern society.”..- VLADINSKY

one of my favorite things! I love interval training, but few things are more annoying than constantly checking your watch to see when an interval should end, particularly during the work interval. This little sucker beeps and/or vibrates to let you know when to stop or start.
