Prompt: Colored French Comic Style. A sexy young woman with long red hair, green eyes and red lipstick is sitting in an office at a desk in front of a monitor and a keyboard. She is wearing a white, open blouse with a low neckline and a rust-colored vest. She has a pencil in one hand. On the desk is an open notepad, a cup with writing utensils and a stack of books. There are shelves on the walls with many more books and files. The spring sun is shining through a window in the background. No speech bubbles.
Modell: Nano Banana Pro.
What kind of music do I like?
This kind of blended in with prompt 1 for me as I don't have a certain type of music I like and the type of music I like is related to the reason I listen to music - so around the border I wrote some of the things I had written in prompt one....
The back label for prompt has the same feel of constructivism and geometric shapes. I liked how the shapes interlock and fit together. I played a lot with different shapes and puzzle pieces trying to get things to work well together. I actually continued building off of front pieces when I created these ones. When they are held next to each other they fit together. I played with the type too on the back labels, positioning in the different shapes. I didn't want text in all of the shapes because Lissitzky's piece is simple and doesn't have a lot of text. There are a lot of solid colored shapes in his artwork.
This is my cat Tipsie. She died in 2006 after having spent 19 years and 6 months together.
I adopted her when I moved from my parents house to my own place. Tipsie was a very special cat, we had such a close connection together. She loved to greet me with a soft sniff on my face. Recognized my worries before I did and comforted me when I felt sad.
We enjoyed a lot of adventures together and moved house four times.
She had a special way to greet me after a few weeks of holiday. Ignoring me for a big part of the day, walking around in circles with 'loud' steps.
The look on her face in this photo represents her character and her love for me. Saying goodbye to her was hard. She was such an important part of my life.

Arthur Rackham style, vintage storybook illustration close up of the two young women's faces ( image #1), pen and ink with watercolor wash. A blue Persian carpet (image #2) spread below them, golden sunlight, dewy grass, cream cup wildflowers. High contrast between dark hollows and bright spots of light. Fancifully foggy distant cypress wind gnarled in layers of fog towards pure white with wild horses looking through between the trees. Draped textiles with ancient wood covered books and leather bags and amber beaded necklaces. Kinetic energy blowing spirits from the forest. Red brown sidewinding snails in the foreground with glowing antennae. Organic grassy textures with English daisies, gnarled lichens and aged mossy stones, intricate line art, Edwardian fantasy aesthetic, 19th-century golden age of illustration.

Had to skip one item and my chihuahua is right out of google image search. It's probably tacky to pick my own blog as my favorite but whatever. I tried to change things up and do a busier page than I tend to do. I don't love it but it was really fun to do.
I am participating in Folded Word's writing month event, called "24/7," during August. Participants spend the first 24 days of the month writing short works, then spend the final week in revisions. The second part of this entry gives more details.
I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 14 is to write a divination-themed prose poem that uses death. You can read the piece here.

If looks like if you could step out over the cliff above PROMPT, you'd be able to touch the backdrop of a movie studio. The mountains look so painted. (Aaron)

one of my favorite things! I love interval training, but few things are more annoying than constantly checking your watch to see when an interval should end, particularly during the work interval. This little sucker beeps and/or vibrates to let you know when to stop or start.
