This photo was also shot in Ireland in 2003. On our roundtrip through Kerry and Dingle Eric and I visited the little island 'Skelig Michael'. I visited this tiny island earlier in 1999 after a few days of windy weather. That time the island was everything you expect of Ireland, mystical with mists all around. Four years later the sun shone plentiful and the feel was totally different. Before I could photograph these steps without people I had to practice some patience.

Another dazzling sunset was seen above the city this evening! We are getting nice sunsets lately, thanks to the lingering monsoonal clouds that were hanging around over our region the past day or two. Speaking of clouds, monsoonal moisture had brought thunderstorms that wreaked havoc in portions of the mountains and desert of San Bernardino County just the previous day, killing one person, clogging key access roads with rocks and mud, submerging cars and prompting `shelter in place` orders for at least 3,000 people... We do need rain but not all at once! Afternoon highs reached into the mild upper 70s to lower 80s for our region this day once again. Pic taken from around San Jose, CA. (Monday around sunset, August 4, 2014; 8:13 p.m.)
I had another idea for this prompt, which I kind of sat on for a few days, then abandoned. In attempting this one, I thought the use of the wax was clever, but am not so happy with the finished product.

I used a paper with love hearts for the roofs.
I took the photo on Easter Sunday while we still had some snow.
Because of prompt the eye sees the smaller flower stand although
the left stand is bigger and closer..

The painting is backed with a small piece of linen, which I wrapped around a painted stick. The stick was then glued to these small tiles, which, in turn and finally, were glued to the page.
Spent 9 hours second shooting a wedding with a photographer friend of mine. The bride chose to take all their pix outside in spite of high temps being 14* F! She had a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and white carnations that didn't quite survive the temps. In the hour+ that we were out (We warmed ourselves in the car periodically) the poor bouquet was frozen stiff and the carnations were a bit brown for the wedding (the roses didn't suffer quite as much) but I'm thinking people didn't notice too much and they look great in the pre-wedding photos! :)
Pitta filled with basmati rice, pearl barley and puy lentil salad.
Very tasty, it had chargrilled vegetables, slow roasted tomatoes, turmeric and cardamom too. Can you tell I'm reading the pack?

In this mirror i wrote the word inspiration. The reflection of something else can inspire you to do something or become someone and grow as a person.
After my unhappy result from the colors prompt, I was reallly pleased when I started painting this background and had it come out, to my eyes, so beautifully.

Pain is "an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage." It is the feeling common to such experiences as stubbing a toe, burning a finger, putting iodine on a cut, and bumping the "funny bone".
