Indoors prompt- 4 thumbnails - same view - different focus. I am seeing a little frantic energy which is how I felt doing this. For some reason the assignment to repeat some of the same elements in each view made me feel more pressure...still working it out.

Down by the lake, I looked up, aimed, and took the photo and then promptly sneezed.
I have what is called Photic Sneeze Reflex. It affects about 25% of the population. It is a medical condition by which people sneeze with sudden exposure to bright light, and possibly also sneeze many times consecutively. It is also referred to as photic sneeze response, sun sneezing, and photogenic sneezing. Wiki can explain it better than I can: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photic_sneeze_reflex
The probable cause is a congenital malfunction in nerve signals in the trigeminal nerve nuclei. The fifth cranial nerve, called the trigeminal nerve, is apparently responsible for sneezes. Research suggests that some people have an association between this nerve and the nerve that transmits visual impulses to the brain. Overstimulation of the optic nerve triggers the trigeminal nerve, and this causes the photic sneeze reflex (persons familiar with data cable insulation issues would understand this undesigned stimulus as "crosstalk").
Another theory suggests that tears leaking into the nose through the nasolacrimal duct are a cause of the photic sneeze reflex. The speed of the reflex seems to favor the first theory, as it happens much too quickly for tears to be generated and drain into the nose. In addition this sneeze reflex can be brought on by a sudden inhaling of cold air or a strong flavor such as a strong mint gum. This implies an overstimulation of any nerve close to the trigeminal nerve can cause the sneeze reflex.
While this phenomenon is poorly understood, recent research has shown that antihistamines being used to treat rhinitis due to seasonal allergies may also reduce the occurrence of solar sneezes in those people suffering from both conditions.[1] Further, the oft pleasurable nature of sneezing means that there is less demand for solutions to the reflex.

I colored a template using acrylic and glitter. Once I started, it was amazing how many different treatments presented themselves. So many patterns in the simplest of designs.

I would never say I'm a champagne snob. Champagne lover? Yes! Cristal, Dom Perignon, Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot are all wonderful, tasty, bubbly treats.So when Steve came back from the store with a $3.49 bottle of Andre, you can definitely understand why I had to lift my jaw off the floor and ask WHY?
I don't think he'll ever live that one down!! And I totally had a different story to tell, with different photos, but bad news after bad news today, I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to give those layouts the love they needed : ) So I decided being snarky with the flat champagne would work! Tomorrow will be better!
Prompted by a comment from Ken Scott in his talk "It's all in the mind", I was itching to get home and see what I could make of our light switches.
I never felt like I did prompt 2 properly, so I revisted it. First I wrote on the page with gold marker, which was later covered with paint, collage, and the writing in black.

Day 09 - Paper // So today's prompt was to take a picture of something paper. I thought a plain white sheet of paper would be just boring as could be, so I decided to take one of my favorite Bella Sara cards off my desk and take a picture of it. They are the most beautifully illustrated trading cards I have ever seen in my life and though I'm more of a cat person, I was really drawn to this series of cards. I always wanted a horse as a little girl and toy version were as close as I ever got.
