Day 09 - Paper // So today's prompt was to take a picture of something paper. I thought a plain white sheet of paper would be just boring as could be, so I decided to take one of my favorite Bella Sara cards off my desk and take a picture of it. They are the most beautifully illustrated trading cards I have ever seen in my life and though I'm more of a cat person, I was really drawn to this series of cards. I always wanted a horse as a little girl and toy version were as close as I ever got.
Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, Nikki comes by her Deep South soul honestly. Her musical career is rooted in the church gospel choirs where she sang as a child. A subsequent stint living in nearby college town Chapel Hill with its thriving alternative music scene, introduced her to many more diverse styles of music. After pairing up with her guitar-playing husband Matt Hill, the duo promptly relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where they have established themselves as roots rock and roll powerhouses.
During Fire Eye'd Boy the monitor terminal fuckup continued and Kevin sent everyone offstage while the sound guys massaged the problem.
Kevin returned during the break to talk with us. One of those other albums they recorded earlier this year will be out "soon", his favorite color is blue, no you may not have a sip of his beer nor a drag of his cigarette, Dirty Three is his favorite band and also, yes he will get naked for us.
And then Kevin Drew took off his clothes.

OH RIGHT --- you're looking at a certified THERAPY DOG! On December 8th, we took and PASSED The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. certification test. This means we can go visit retirement homes and various hospitals. We'll probably mostly go to the Ronald McDonald House. I'm SO proud of my little man!!!
