This is a photograph from the 9th annual running of the Meath Spring Half Marathon which was promoted and hosted by Bohermeen Athletic Club at Bohermeen, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday 8th of March 2020 at 11:00. The half marathon consists of a 11KM and 10KM repeated loop around the roads of Bohermeen and Oristown. The finish line is on the running track within Bohermeen Community Center. The course is a fast fair course with a few small hills. In 2016 the original course was 'reversed' which just meant that the traditional course changed to accomodate the large number of participants and the narrow country roads on which both the race participants and race traffic must both share before, during and after the race. Most runners agreed that this made the course much faster as a result. This is the second year of the half marathon only event. The major change for 2019 seen the half marathon become the only race of the day. Previously, there was a 10KM race option also presented. This year well over 1000 participants finished the race which sold out many weeks in advance. The race also includes the 47th Rennicks Cup (Men's overall team) and the 44th Father Delany Cup (Women's overall team).
The weather was a slight improvement on the very wintry weather of 2019. A very strong westerly wind contined and this was in the face of runners on the open stretches on the Navan Athboy road and on the additional section on Loop 1. There was also a very heavy hail shower at around midday.
Bohermeen AC is steeped in Irish athletics history since 1927 and it is this experience and exceptional community spirit and volunteering which has made this event today so successful. Having now organised the event for six years running it is certain that the event will continue to grow and expand become one of the mainstays on the Irish athletic club road racing calendar for many years to come.
This race takes place about one month after the Trim AC 10 Mile Road Race in Trim (just down the road from Bohermeen). Indeed these races truly kick-start the whole road racing season of fixtures amongst the clubs in Meath who are now famous for the quality and standard of the road races staged and organised.

At the Jay Estate in Rye, we try to make history, which is often perceived as old and dusty, something fresh and relevant. To do this we rely heavily on our partnerships with area schools, other non-profits and corporate grantors like Rye's own Con Edison, all of whom have the vision to think outside the box and outside the classroom. Together, we've created new hands-on opportunities to train the "Founders" of tomorrow and promote civic engagement in a multitude of fields.
Well you can't get much more hands-on than archaeology which is a critical component of environmental review at any landmark site, including our own. So this past month, six Rye Country Day High School volunteers really lived their school's motto of "Not for Self but For Service" and put themselves through a rigorous dirt-under-your-fingernails field experience! Not only did they help uncover and identify cultural resources for JHC but they also helped create a template for mini-archaeology camps that will be offered to younger kids in Westchester later this summer.
In their report to their advisor they explained, "For our senior term project, we elected to help with an archaeological dig at the Jay Heritage Center, assisting Dr. Eugene Boesch in searching for artifacts that might reveal more about John Jay's 1745 colonial farmhouse - the home where he grew up as a child in Rye. Following criteria set by the Department of the Interior, we dug, screened, measured and catalogued 18th century square nails and iridescent glass, an assortment of glazed pottery and creamware, a clay tobacco pipe bowl marked TD and a pipe stem, and pieces of animal bones. But our most exciting find was probably a prehistoric tool or scraper revealing the presence of earlier First Nations encampments on the site. We learned that archaeology is a necessary part of environmental review since our cultural resources are fragile and not renewable. "
While most adults might stereotype kids this age as being glued to the screens on their I-phones, these girls worked diligently and thoughtfully mastering large wooden screens to sift shovelfuls of earth for artifacts. The prize? Holding a prehistoric stone blade in their hands, one they dug up themselves after 3 patient, buggy days in the hot sun. As one girl admitted, it had that "Wow, Indiana Jones" excitement to it but it also made them appreciate that other people "breathed" here.
At the end of the week, the girls cleaned, labeled and photographed their finds. Several asked if they could come back as counselors for the mini-archaeology camp, hoping to witness the same excitement on the faces of a dozen 10 year old summer campers when they make their own awesome discoveries.
It is close partnerships with area schools and corporate grantors like Con Edison that make programs of civic engagement like this possible. Students leave our site with visual and tactile impressions more indelible than looking at any image in a textbook or Smart board. As a result, they are the ones digging even deeper for greater, more visible returns on their hard work when they come back to volunteer again.

SEAT Rally Car and other Racing Car ride simulators
In August 1988, Camber offered SEAT the Steve Harper SHADO designed 'footprint' conscious caricatured Ibiza as a way to promote activities within their Motorsport Division.
The project began in January 2000 when Gwyndaff Evans Ibiza Rally Car was delivered to the workshops at Fletcher Sportsboats.
The Ibiza car was over 3.7m long, and for the ride machine, the car caricature length needed to be reduced to below 2.5m.
So by carefully adding mould shuttering over the car, part sections were produced, which when reassembled met the required length.
The ‘stepped’ body shape was then reblended using foam and body-filler by modelmakers John Grimshaw & Jim Oates, and 2 weeks later the finished model was ready for to be tooled for production.
This model was then used again, as the basis for the modelling of the interior panels and screen surround.
Once those parts were completed, the first cars were ready to be built by the end of March, by the CAMBER technicians.
15 cars were built in total, and these were installed in a wide variety of venues throughout the UK.
Then, by connect them all via the internet, a National championship was created to challenge users of the popular ‘Rally’ games.
The winners were entertained on Rally events, and the overall winner was rewarded with a SEAT Ibiza car.
From this concept a further series of car and Display trailers were designed and created for touring venues throughout the country. Many of the ESP Trailers are still in use today by many varied organisations.

Ft Buchanan, PR - On Saturday December 14, 2013 the Army Reserve of the United States in Puerto Rico, witnessed one of the most significant events in their tradition, the change of command ceremony. It is an event that has been celebrated for hundreds of years and continues to be important as it marks the continuation of leadership and gives the formal relay from one Commanding Officer to another Commander. The protagonists were two Puerto Ricans with his perseverance and performance managed to overcome, reach and become leaders of the troops in Puerto Rico.
"Brigadier General Fernando Fernandez leaves a legacy at the First Mission Support Command (1st MSC) of the US Army Reserve Puerto Rico on the duty to always lead by example. No wonder this is one of his favorite phrases and it has not only inherited but lives it every day."said Lieutenant General Jeffrey W. Talley who was the guest of honor and responsible to officially release and deliver the responsibilities of command.
After more than 30 years of military career General Fernández, begin his life as retired from the armed forces.
"It was an incredible honor to serve with the Soldiers of this command, being the Commander for the past four years has been the adventure and the best four years of my life. I leave you in good hands, "said General Fernández
Meanwhile the newly promoted Brigadier General Jose R. Burgos, who assumed the responsibility on this day, it proved very proud to have the opportunity to direct the Command
"Today, another son from La Isla del Encanto is promoted to Brigadier General in the best Army in the world; I am now a real example of the many opportunities our great nation offers." said General Burgos.
The new General said that we must have perseverance and discipline to achieve our goals. He talked about his humble life in Cantera’s Subdivision, and now he feels pride in taking charge.
"With this achievement I will hopefully serve as an example to others and continue to forge better leaders and citizens for our communities, our country and our nation," he said.

Suddenly the skies cleared and the sun appeared. This is a photograph from the annual Rita and Robbie's Christmas 5KM promoted by Navan AC and held at Claremont Stadium Navan in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland on Wednesday 27th October 2017 at 12:00. Just under 350 people took part making it one of the best attendances for this event in recent years. The weather was very cold with the frost from the night making road conditions icy and slippery. Consequently, the race director decided to delay the start of the race by 30 minutes to allow for the temperatures to rise a little and some melting take place, particularly where there was shaded spots on the road. A stiff cold breeze made for rather mixed and challenging conditions for the competitors in the race.
The race started outside Claremont Stadium and finished on the tartan track within the grounds of the stadium. The race followed a well known and historic 5km route which takes in the Athboy Navan road moving onto the Commons Road before turning back onto the Robinstown road back to the stadium. This route was used many times in the past for national championship road races and for previous races hosted by the Navan Clubs.
The race is dedicated to Rita Brady and Robbie Byrne who are both stalwards of athletics in Navan with both having given a lifetime of service to the promotion of athletics in the town of Navan and beyond. Both of their involvement with Navan-based athletics can be traced back not just in years but in decades - back to the 1940s, 50s and 60s and in more recent times. The race today is a suitable way of honoring their work and dedication.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

Warren Beatty (1937) is an American film actor, director, producer and the younger brother of Shirley MacLaine. Immediately after his debut in Splendor in the Grass (1961), he was Hollywood's most promising 'Jeune premier'. He had his breakthrough with Bonnie and Clyde (1967) opposite Faye Dunaway. Later, he made such hit films as Shampoo (1975) and Heaven Can Wait (1978), but his most lauded film is Reds (1981). Beatty is the only person to be nominated for four Oscars (Best Picture, Directing, Lead Actor & Screenplay) in the same year in two times. First for Heaven Can Wait (1978), and later for Reds (1981).
Warren Beatty was born Henry Warren Beaty in 1937, in Richmond, Virginia, U.S. His mother, Kathlyn Corinne (née MacLean), was a teacher from Nova Scotia. His father, Ira Owens Beaty, studied for a PhD in educational psychology and was a teacher and school administrator, in addition to working in real estate. His older sister is actress Shirley MacLaine, Beatty played football in high school but was more interested in theatre, encouraged to act by the success of his sister, who established herself as a Hollywood star. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, for one year before moving to New York City, where he studied with acting coach Stella Adler. He occasionally appeared onstage and from 1957 on television as well. In 1959 he earned a recurring role in the television series The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis but left the show before the first season ended to make his only Broadway appearance, in William Inge's 'A Loss of Roses' (1959). Beatty received a Tony Award nomination for his Broadway debut. He then made a strong screen debut as a tortured teenager in love in Splendor in the Grass (Elia Kazan, 1961) opposite Natalie Wood. The film was a major critical and box office success and Beatty was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and received the award for New Star of the Year – Actor. The film was also nominated for two Oscars, winning one. His next films were Tennessee Williams' The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (Jose Quintero, 1961), with Vivien Leigh and Lotte Lenya, All Fall Down (John Frankenheimer, 1962), with Angela Lansbury, Lilith (Robert Rossen, 1963), with Jean Seberg and Promise Her Anything (Arthur Hiller, 1964), with Leslie Caron. Although interesting efforts, these films were mostly financial disappointments.
Taking command of his career, Warren Beatty formed a production company, Tatira, in 1965. Beatty assigned himself the duties of star and producer for Bonnie and Clyde (Arthur Penn, 1967), the story of Great Depression-era bank robbers Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway) and Clyde Barrow. When he made his deal with Warner Bros. for Bonnie and Clyde, the studio had such little faith in the future box-office results from the $2.5-million production that it agreed to give the film's star and first-time producer 40% of the box-office gross. The deal worked out quite well for Beatty. Counterculture audiences of the 1960s identified with the film’s outlaw heroes, thanks largely to Beatty’s performance, which was filled with much compassion for Barrow and the poor in America. Beatty had worked before with Penn on Mickey One (Arthur Penn, 1965). Bonnie and Clyde received much attention for the artfully rendered climactic shoot-out, which set new standards for screen violence. It became a colossal hit and a milestone in cinema history. It was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor (Beatty). Between 1967-1973 when the film played in theatres, it generated over $70 million worldwide at the box office, netting Beatty an estimated $28 million. Never one to rush into projects, Beatty acted in only four films in the next seven years. From 1967 to 1974, he lived off-and-on with British actress Julie Christie. He co-starred with her in Robert Altman’s revisionist Western McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971). He also played the lead in Alan J. Pakula’s paranoid thriller The Parallax View (1974). His next big hit was Shampoo (Hal Ashby, 1975) with Julie Christie, Goldie Hawn and Lee Grant. Britannica describes the film as "a comic sex romp, flavoured with a left-wing sensibility". Beatty plays a womanising hairdresser who finds it impossible to juggle all his lovers on the eve of Pres. Richard Nixon’s election in 1968. Beatty starred in the film, produced, and wrote it with Robert Towne. Shampoo was nominated for four Academy Awards. Even more successful was Heaven Can Wait (Warren Beatty, Buck Henry, 1978) again with Julie Christie. It was a showcase vehicle for Beatty’s comedic talents. Beatty was nominated for Academy Awards in four separate categories (Best Actor, Best Picture [as producer], Adapted Screenplay, and Best Direction), an unprecedented achievement in Hollywood history and an achievement he was to repeat with his next film.
Reds (Warren Beatty, 1981) was the film that established Warren Beatty as a serious filmmaker. The historical epic about American Communist journalist John Reed who observed the Russian October Revolution of 1917 received Oscar nominations in all the major categories and won Beatty an Oscar for Best Director. He did not direct again for nine years when he chose as his next vehicle a star-studded adaptation of the comic strip Dick Tracy (Warren Beatty, 1990). The film, co-starring Al Pacino and Madonna, received positive reviews and was one of the highest-grossing films of the year. His notable films of the 1990s include Bugsy (Barry Levinson, 1991), about the infamous gangster, and Love Affair (Glenn Gordon Caron, 1994), both costarring Annette Bening, whom Beatty married in 1992. In 1998 he co-wrote, directed, and starred in Bulworth, playing a U.S. senator whose disillusionment with the political system is fueled by his immersion in hip-hop culture. Despite the accolades he received, Beatty was also part of two of Hollywood’s most expensive failures, Ishtar (Elaine May, 1987) and Town & Country (Peter Chelsom, 2001). After a 15-year absence, he returned to the big screen with Rules Don’t Apply (Warren Beatty, 2016), about the relationship between an aspiring actress and her driver, both of whom work for Howard Hughes. In addition to starring as the eccentric millionaire, Beatty also wrote and directed the romance. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences granted Beatty the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award for his body of work in 2000, and he was a 2004 Kennedy Center Honor recipient. In 2008 Beatty received a lifetime achievement award from the American Film Institute. Warren Beatty and Annette Bening have four children: Kathlyn (b. 1992), Benjamin (1994), Isabel (1997) and Ella (2000). Daughter Kathlyn transitioned to male at the age of 14 and changed her name to Stephen Ira Beatty.

This is a photograph from the Tullamore Harriers AC "Quinlan Cup" Half Marathon which was held on Saturday 27th August 2016 in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland at 11:00. This is the fourth year of the event. The race is organised and promoted by Tullamore Harriers AC. The race starts on the Charleville Road just outside the entrance to Tullamore Harriers. The race proceeds south along the R421 and onto the N52 before taking a route onto local back roads. The race then completes a large rural road route before it joins to the R421 again and the final 1.5 miles are the same as the first mile of the race. The runners enter Tullamore stadium and complete one lap of the tartan track before the finish line. The course is challenging in places with some undulations along the route. But overall it is fair course. 2013 seen the first year of the event as the club commemorated the 60th Anniversary of the formation of Tullamore Harriers AC which today is one of Ireland's best known athletics clubs.

The race was perfectly organised. The weather was good for racing but there was warm summer weather for the entire race which made for warmer than usual running conditions There were stewarts all along the route, 3 drink stations with bottled water, superb facilities, and great after-race refreshments. The stewards along the route provided great encouragement to all of the runners. Tullamore Harriers and the local community really worked together to make this is a wonderful event. There was also a relay option where teams of two can run approximately 10.5km each.
As mentioned above this race half marathon started in 2013 and celebrated the 60th Anniversary (a Diamond Anniversary) of the foundation of Tullamore Harriers AC. The club was formed in the town in November 1953. However, it was almost 1979 before facilities close to what we see today open in the present day site. Over 50 provincial and national athletics meetings are held at Tullamore Harriers every year. The facilities available combined with it's central geographical location joining routes from North, South, East, and West make it a very attractive venue. The half marathon today firmly brings competitive national road racing back to "The Harriers". The Quinlan Cup which will be awarded to the winning club team. For more than 40 years the Harriers Quinlan Cup was the most prestigious event on the road racing calendar. Having started as a cross-country race back in 1957, it became a road race in 1967 and remained so until 2000 when the race was last held. During its reign as a blue-ribband event the Quinlan Cup was won by the likes of John Treacy and Eamonn Coughlan.
Today, the facilities at Tullamore Harriers are the envy of many athletics clubs in Ireland. The facilities provided by Tullamore make it one of the premier venues for local and national level athletics in Ireland. There is an Olympic standard tartan track, a fully equipped gym, changing facilities, press and media facilities, meeting room spaces, etc. The club also provides a social center and niteclub which makes "The Harriers" a very well known on the local social scene. Esssentially, the town of Tullamore would be a different place if it weren't for the presence of Tullamore Harriers AC.

This is a photograph from the 8th annual running of the Meath Spring Half Marathon which was promoted and hosted by Bohermeen Athletic Club at Bohermeen, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday 10th of March 2019 at 11:00. The half marathon consists of a 11KM and 10KM repeated loop around the roads of Bohermeen and Oristown. The finish line is on the running track within Bohermeen Community Center. The course is a fast fair course with a few small hills. In 2016 the original course was 'reversed' which just meant that the traditional course changed to accomodate the large number of participants and the narrow country roads on which both the race participants and race traffic must both share before, during and after the race. Most runners agreed that this made the course much faster as a result. The major change for 2019 seen the half marathon become the only race of the day. Previously, there was a 10KM race option also presented. This year the race promoters offered 999 places and the race sold out many weeks in advance. The race also includes the 46th Rennicks Cup (Men's overall team) and the 43rd Father Delany Cup (Women's overall team).
The weather will be remembered for a long time after this year. Just about 15 minutes before the start there was a very heavy hailstorm which seemed to make the winds even stronger. Suddenly the skies cleared and the sun appeared. However, a very strong westerly wind contined and this was in the face of runners on the open stretches on the Navan Athboy road and on the additional section on Loop 1.
Bohermeen AC is steeped in Irish athletics history since 1927 and it is this experience and exceptional community spirit and volunteering which has made this event today so successful. Having now organised the event for six years running it is certain that the event will continue to grow and expand become one of the mainstays on the Irish athletic club road racing calendar for many years to come.
This race takes place about one month after the Trim AC 10 Mile Road Race in Trim (just down the road from Bohermeen). Indeed these races truly kick-start the whole road racing season of fixtures amongst the clubs in Meath who are now famous for the quality and standard of the road races staged and organised.
The race is supported by substantial local sponsorship from businesses in the local area. McNally Logistics and Transportation are the main sponsors of this year's event. The company specialises in national and international haulage.

Chamber Promotes Hollywood to Local and Foreign Press at the Annual Awards Media Center
The Chamber’s 8th Annual Awards Media Center was a terrific success during Oscar® week! Showcasing Hollywood to over 100 media outlets, the Media Center was a central location for press to obtain information and interviews from a variety of Chamber members. L’Oréal Paris was the presenting sponsor and treated press and attendees to makeovers, consultations, and samples of their product. Hollywood & Highland generously offered prime space just above the red carpet for the Media Center, and ELS was able to convert the empty retail space into an impressive ‘showroom’. Cirque de Soleil performers were on hand to entertain the media, Indian Motorcycle brought in their 2011 Indian Chief, and the Hollywood Museum provided an elaborate display to give the media a true feel of what is available in Hollywood. The Da Vinci Exhibit offered complimentary tours, author Gaelyn Whitley Keith gave autographed copies of her book and other sponsors such as LA Inc. and Universal Studios ensured that the press was informed and engaged. Delicious menu samplings were available from Pink's Hot Dogs, The Happy Ending, Maui and Sons, Hard Rock Cafe, Hooters of Hollywood and McDonald's while Legacy Entertainment provided beverages from Victory H2O, Adult Chocolate Milk, Chadwick Bay, and Sharkwater Liqueur. Special interviews were given by Leron Gubler (Hollywood Chamber), Ana Martinez (Hollywood Walk of Fame), John Pavlik (Walk of Fame Nominating Committee), Christie Van Cleve (Hollywood Historic Trust), Donelle Dadigan (Hollywood Historic Trust), Donald Haber (BAFTA), Gloria Pink (Pink’s Hot Dogs), Rosemary Lord (‘Hollywood Now & Then’ author), and Gaelyn Whitley Keith (‘Father of Hollywood’ author.) The media left with satisfied appetites, a strong knowledge of our partners, and special goodie bags to remind them of their visit to Hollywood! This is a photograph from the 9th annual running of the Meath Spring Half Marathon which was promoted and hosted by Bohermeen Athletic Club at Bohermeen, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday 8th of March 2020 at 11:00. The half marathon consists of a 11KM and 10KM repeated loop around the roads of Bohermeen and Oristown. The finish line is on the running track within Bohermeen Community Center. The course is a fast fair course with a few small hills. In 2016 the original course was 'reversed' which just meant that the traditional course changed to accomodate the large number of participants and the narrow country roads on which both the race participants and race traffic must both share before, during and after the race. Most runners agreed that this made the course much faster as a result. This is the second year of the half marathon only event. The major change for 2019 seen the half marathon become the only race of the day. Previously, there was a 10KM race option also presented. This year well over 1000 participants finished the race which sold out many weeks in advance. The race also includes the 47th Rennicks Cup (Men's overall team) and the 44th Father Delany Cup (Women's overall team).
The weather was a slight improvement on the very wintry weather of 2019. A very strong westerly wind contined and this was in the face of runners on the open stretches on the Navan Athboy road and on the additional section on Loop 1. There was also a very heavy hail shower at around midday.
Bohermeen AC is steeped in Irish athletics history since 1927 and it is this experience and exceptional community spirit and volunteering which has made this event today so successful. Having now organised the event for six years running it is certain that the event will continue to grow and expand become one of the mainstays on the Irish athletic club road racing calendar for many years to come.
This race takes place about one month after the Trim AC 10 Mile Road Race in Trim (just down the road from Bohermeen). Indeed these races truly kick-start the whole road racing season of fixtures amongst the clubs in Meath who are now famous for the quality and standard of the road races staged and organised.

12.12.2018 High-Level Event with the High Commissioner for Human Rights: Promoting rights-based climate action for people and planet
Julie Andrews Edwards came to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on Saturday, April 28, 2007, to promote her new book "Thanks to You: Wisdom from Mother & Child".
She hinted that she was in the process of writing her autobiography, which would be likely available within a year. She spent most of the time answering questions from the audience, most notably one question about how to walk like a princess (Princess Diaries fanatics, rejoice! :oD ).
Built in 1767, St. Francis Xavier Church replaced the original Newtown Chapel (1662). Unusual features include the barrel vault ceiling and two octagonally shaped brick ends. Also on site is Newtown Manor (1789) whose Flemish bond brickwork indicates its early construction. The church and manor, and the 700 acre farm that surrounds it, is an example of a self-contained Jesuit community. National Register of Historic Places.
Minister Bruce Ralston met with Fujitsu executives to learn about the company and its growth strategy for Fujitsu Intelligence Technology (FIT) in BC. In a purposeful initiative of the Syrian Society for Social Development to promote joy and peace that every honorable Syrian deserves, the second Peace Cycle Rally that took place in the Homs governorate on 28 April 2017 was an impressive spectacle to watch: about 700 bicycles moving together like a wave in a remarkable organization and coordination.
The core of the event was born when SSSD joined efforts with Helm-Kun Group and UNHCR Syria .
The event was supported by the Syrian Civil Society Forum, the Faces team, Mada Cultural Project, Nature Without Borders, IT Advice team, with the participation of the Da‘set Bicyclette team, Salamieh , as well as cooperation and coordination with the competent administrative authorities in the city of Homs.
D-Day started with a large influx of participants, arriving with their bikes, and the arrival of the other teams’ coaches carrying participants and bicycles from the provinces of Damascus, Tartous, and the city of Salamieh. The meeting point was the 8 March Roundabout, where the SSSD team attended since 8 am to distribute mineral water bottles, caps with the SSSD, UNHCR, and Helm-Kun logos, a self-adhesive badge with the participant’s number, in addition to white balloons, a symbol of peace, to each participant. Then the start signal was given at the 8 March Roundabout. The course of the rally went through the University Campus, Jouret al-‘Arayes, the Baba Amr Bridge, Brazil Street, al-Hamra, al-Ghouta, al-Dablan. After a 10-minute-break at the New Clock Tower, the bikes continued towards the Old Clock Tower, al-Hamidia, Kaab al-Ahbar Mosque, al-Zahra Square, al-Zahra Street, the 60th Street, ending at the Starting point, 8 March Roundabout.
The rallying bikes were accompanied by traffic police cars, technicians for emergency breakdowns, and SSSD vehicles to organize and guide the process.
Thus, the Peace Cycle Rally II proved to the whole world that the city of Homs is still full of life, that the hearts of her sons still pulsate with the love of Syria all the time.

حيث بدء المسير بتوافد كبير للمشتركين بصحبة دراجاتهم, وتوافد باصات الفرق الأخرى التي تحمل المشتركين ودراجاتهم من محافظات دمشق وطرطوس ومدينة السلمية " وتم الاجتماع عند دوار 8 آذار, وقام فريق الجمعية السورية للتنمية الاجتماعية من الساعة 8 صباحا بالتواجد وتوزيع (مياه معدنية- قبعة (مطبوع عليها اسم المسير مع الثلاث جهات المسؤولة عنه (SSSD، UNHCR،فريق حلم كون),بالإضافة الى بطاقة لاصقة تحمل رقم مخصص )وذلك لكل فرد مشارك, بالإضافة الى (بالونات بيضاء) رمز السلام، ومن ثم انطلقت إشارة بدء المسير عند دوار 8 آذار- المدينة الجامعية - جورة العرايس - جسر بابا عمرو-شارع البرازيل-الحمراء-الغوطة-الدبلان ثم الوقوف عند الساعة الجديدة كاستراحة لمدة عشر دقائق ثم المتابعة باتجاه الساعة القديمة-الحميدية-جامع كعب الأحبار-ساحة الزهراء –الزهراء-شارع الستين –دوار الفاخورة-دوار النزهة-شارع الحضارة-دوار الرئيس-والعودة الى نقطة البداية عند دوار 8 آذار )
وتم مرافقة المسير من قبل شرطة المرور- وفنيين للأعطال الطارئة-سيارات تابعة للجمعية لتنظيم المسير وتوجيهه.
.... مسير السلام للدراجات 2 ، اثبات للعالم اجمع ان مدينة حمص مازالت تعج بالحياة .... ومازالت قلوب ابنائها تنبض في كل مرة بعشق......(سوريا).
