This is a 1:16 scale model of M-ATV MRAP vehicle, featuring a set of Electronic Equipment and a replica of the M153 "CROWS" Remote Weapon Station. It is built for trade shows, exhibits and presentations and further promoting our line of trade show models in 1:16 scale.
In order to reduce the model's cost we used a pre-fabricated replica of a base M-ATV, which we upgraded and reinforced so it could withstand a stress of often travels and handling. A standard cargo compartment was modified to accommodate the equipment. The equipment and the Weapon Station were designed in 3D software and produced by rapid prototyping out of increased durability plastics. The model was assembled and finished manually, mounted on a black painted composite base with a clear protective cover and packed in a military grade Pelican transit case with a customized foam lining.
The model was appreciated for its quality, accuracy, high level of details and speedy production. Shortly after submission the model traveled to its first trade show, the 2019 IDEX in Abu Dhabi, where it received recognition and most positive feedback.

The excellent clubhouse at Tillside cricket club. Other than a visit to this ground during 2011 whilst coaching our U13/15 team at Seaton Burn CC, this was my first visit as an umpire after Tillside were promoted to the Northumberland & Tyneside Senior League, and what a beautiful place to officiate in the first game of the season. Tillside won the game, and well and truly announced their arrival into this league. Superb hospitality, and great set of lads, and a good game of cricket.

This is a photograph from the Tullamore Harriers AC "Quinlan Cup" Half Marathon which was held on Saturday 29th August 2015 in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland at 12:00. This is the third year of the event. The race is organised and promoted by Tullamore Harriers AC. The race starts on the Charleville Road just outside the entrance to Tullamore Harriers. The race proceeds south along the R421 and onto the N52 before taking a route onto local back roads. The race then completes a large rural road route before it joins to the R421 again and the final 1.5 miles are the same as the first mile of the race. The runners enter Tullamore stadium and complete one lap of the tartan track before the finish line. The course is challenging in places with some undulations along the route. But overall it is fair course. 2013 seen the first year of the event as the club commemorated the 60th Anniversary of the formation of Tullamore Harriers AC which today is one of Ireland's best known athletics clubs.
The race was perfectly organised. The weather was good for racing but there was a very strong headwind for the first 6 miles of the race which made the conditions difficult. The weather was dry and warm except for the torrential downpour at around 1:45pm which cleared the whole finish area of spectators and runners. There were stewarts all along the route, 3 drink stations with bottled water, superb facilities, and great after-race refreshments. The stewards along the route provided great encouragement to all of the runners. Tullamore Harriers and the local community really worked together to make this is a wonderful event. There was also a relay option where teams of two can run approximately 10.5km each. In total almost 700 participants took part. This was higher than the 568 participants who completed the race which is almost 150 more than the 2013 event.
We have a large set of photographs from today's race at the start and the finish until the 2-00 finish time. They are available on Flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/albums/72157655560294853

As mentioned above this race half marathon started in 2013 and celebrated the 60th Anniversary (a Diamond Anniversary) of the foundation of Tullamore Harriers AC. The club was formed in the town in November 1953. However, it was almost 1979 before facilities close to what we see today open in the present day site. Over 50 provincial and national athletics meetings are held at Tullamore Harriers every year. The facilities available combined with it's central geographical location joining routes from North, South, East, and West make it a very attractive venue. The half marathon today firmly brings competitive national road racing back to "The Harriers". The Quinlan Cup which will be awarded to the winning club team. For more than 40 years the Harriers Quinlan Cup was the most prestigious event on the road racing calendar. Having started as a cross-country race back in 1957, it became a road race in 1967 and remained so until 2000 when the race was last held. During its reign as a blue-ribband event the Quinlan Cup was won by the likes of John Treacy and Eamonn Coughlan.
Today, the facilities at Tullamore Harriers are the envy of many athletics clubs in Ireland. The facilities provided by Tullamore make it one of the premier venues for local and national level athletics in Ireland. There is an Olympic standard tartan track, a fully equipped gym, changing facilities, press and media facilities, meeting room spaces, etc. The club also provides a social center and niteclub which makes "The Harriers" a very well known on the local social scene. Esssentially, the town of Tullamore would be a different place if it weren't for the presence of Tullamore Harriers AC.

I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?

I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?

Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

Ft Buchanan, PR - On Saturday December 14, 2013 the Army Reserve of the United States in Puerto Rico, witnessed one of the most significant events in their tradition, the change of command ceremony. The protagonists were two Puerto Ricans with his perseverance and performance managed to overcome, reach and become leaders of the troops in Puerto Rico.
"Brigadier General Fernando Fernandez leaves a legacy at the First Mission Support Command (1st MSC) of the US Army Reserve Puerto Rico on the duty to always lead by example. The new General said that we must have perseverance and discipline to achieve our goals. He talked about his humble life in Cantera’s Subdivision, and now he feels pride in taking charge.
"With this achievement I will hopefully serve as an example to others and continue to forge better leaders and citizens for our communities, our country and our nation," he said.

The last 25 years of change and transition since the fall of the Berlin Wall in former communist Europe have produced both transition champions and transition laggards. What are the growth prospects for the region in the short term and the longer term? Will income convergence with the advanced countries resume and, if not, why not?
There is widespread consensus on the policies and reforms needed to invigorate growth, yet reforms have stagnated since the mid-2000s. What are the political, social and human capital constraints standing in the way of new reforms and how can these constraints be overcome? What can be done to re-ignite reforms and create a virtuous circle of sustainable growth and greater prosperity?

HORSE ABOUT NEWMARKET
is a community art event, promoted by Newmarket Town Council to celebrate our town’s unique position as the headquarters of British Horse Racing.
Following a competition, thirteen artists were selected to paint life-sized model horses, basing their design on the name of a 2000 Guineas winner. Sixteen smaller horses were painted by local schools, youth organisations and charities.
All the horses are now on display in various locations around Newmarket. We hope you will enjoy exploring the town as you follow this walking trail, which will take you to all of the full-sized horses, as well as showing many of the smaller horses.
At the end of the summer, the horses will be auctioned, and the profits will be shared between two local charities, Racing Welfare and St. Nicholas Hospice.
The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's top Visitor attractions. The Cliffs are 214m (715 feet) high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare, Ireland. O'Brien's Tower stands proudly on a headland of the majestic Cliffs. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as The Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and Loop Head to the South.
The Cliffs of Moher take their name from a ruined promontory fort “Mothar” which was demolished during the Napoleonic wars to make room for a signal tower.
The Cliffs of Moher are home to one of the major colonies of cliff nesting seabirds in Ireland. The area was designated as a Special Protection Area (SPA) for Birds under the EU Birds Directive in 1986 and as a Refuge for Fauna in 1988. Included within the designated site are the cliffs, the cliff-top maritime grassland and heath, and a 200 metre zone of open water, directly in front of the cliffs to protect part of the birds' feeding area. The designation covers 200 hectares (494 Acres) and highlights the area's importance for wildlife.

To promote the continued conservation of bison, the Department of the Interior launched the Bison Conservation Initiative in 2008. The goal of the initiative is to restore bison to their ecological and cultural role on appropriate landscapes by maintaining herds on public lands and controlling disease. The initiative seeks to ensure that bison are free of cattle genes and have high genetic diversity as well.

Animal welfare activists petition Royal Thai Embassy - London 02.03.2012
On 2nd March 2012, Activists and supporters of animal welfare organisation Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) assembled outside the Royal Thai Embassy in West London's Queens Gate to petition the Thai government to investigate the conduct of the Department of National Parks (DNP), whose officials last month conducted an aggressive raid on their Wildlife Rescue Centre located on a huge plot of forest part-owned by the Kao Look Chang temple and the WFFT, which saw 103 recently-rescued animals taken away and placed in badly-run, overcrowded government facilities. So far only three of the animals have been recovered.
The WFFT is a well-established and respected organisation whose main objectives are to rescue wild animals from places where they have been maltreated or neglected - such as badly run private zoos which provide animals for tourists to pose with for photographs - and also to provide the animals with a sanctuary as close to their natural environment as possible, and to give them the best possible medical care. Where possible the animals are rehabilitated and returned to the wild. WFFT also engages local populations to educate them in animal welfare, and to stop cruelty to animals. Another major concern is illegal hunting and to promote the conservation of natural rainforest habitats.
Also present at the Thai Embassy today were representatives of Care for the Wild International (an organisation which regularly audits the standards of care and provision of the WFFT), whose chief executive Philip Mansbridge handed over a 53,000 signature petition to embassy staff asking the Thai Government to help find out why the Department of National parks, which has previously worked very well with the WFFT to the extent of even sending them animals to care for when government services are over-burdened, has now seemingly turned against the foundation. During the raid which took place over several days from Feb 12th to 17th, several animals were very badly treated by DNP personnel, who injured many animals whilst trapping them and cramming them into completely inappropriate enclosures before transporting them the length and breadth of Thailand on the backs of trucks. Many suspect the DNP has turned against them for political reasons following WFFT public statements by founder Edwin Wiek about elephant and tiger poaching and possible cover-ups perpetrated by DNP officials, politicians and local businessmen running the elephant camps which provide major tourist revenue to the regional Thai economies.
