Project Loon provides the internet directly to the cell phone from a network of high-altitude balloons. This material is recyclable polyethylene.
The only navigation control is vertical (adding or removing air as ballast; the helium remains in a separate part of the balloon) so they can catch or avoid the prevailing winds.

The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.

.50 cal. AE / 40mm advanced infantry rifle.
A lightweight weapon system borne from the combined efforts of the Archwell-Shepard Collaborative Design Team. It is intended to replace the MOWS-1 Stormbreaker Rifle currently in service by the GR Military, but this weapon is still undergoing trials.
Not much is known about this weapon, thanks to the lack of design specs at the time of its submission, but testing reports indicate that the .50 AE rounds fired from this gun are propelled at a much higher velocity, courtesy of the three electromagnets placed halfway on the barrel.
Credits to Guyver94 for providing the base weapon and some important design specs.

Enjoyed a nice walk this evening with my mother and boyfriend. It's so nice spending time with both of them talking about our day and enjoying some fresh air. The humidity is starting to disappear and evening walks are much more bearable than before. Bye Bye Summer!
This is a free project by Michael Fulkerson from Spool Sewing www.spoolsewing.com. I made the birds and my husband put it all together - now it hangs in the baby's room.
I decided my birds needed some wings to add a bit more color, and just cut out teardrop shapes of fabric to make them.
Another christmas tree ornament. It's easy these days to have a daily photo when the day had no photo. My tree is full of details!! I used a new app to edit the photo: VSCO. I'm no fan of presets but... I like to try new things.
