This was seconds before getting tackled by a player on the other team trying to cross-tackle Travis missed, and tacked me instead. My camera now has a cool battle scar.
this is at my school, with star trails behind the windmill we have in our backyard. i took it mainly just to try out star trail-photography, and reckon it turned out kinda nice (after have lightened up the stars in photoshop).
about 20 minutes of stars, with 40 exposures at 30 seconds each. f/8, iso 100.
i also ended up submitting it as a picture for a photography project at my school (theme: multiple exposures).
I like to hot wax my hands in the winter. It makes them so nice and soft but during the hot waxing my hand looks a little freaky.

I decided to try making another log cabin block. For this one I measured out all the strips and somehow, it ended up measuring 12" x 12"! So If I decide to make things block I'll probably just add an extra 1/4" to the outer four strips.
I still want to try a wonky one and then I'll make a decision on which block to use!

Autumnal view from my bedroom window. We don't get much autumn colour here in Wellington but there is a definite change in this view.
