For the upcoming UNIQUE LA Holiday Show.

Regulatory Day Training, in Hopewell, Va April 2018

This project, titled “2011,” was very sentimental for me— bittersweet moments looking back at who I used to be and how I’ve changed, for better or for worse. The five best photos are memories that I hold, and show no text to represent their purity, while the rest are based on how I view those spaces. These spaces are where my body feels the most emotion, as what you see is what younger me would have seen (a blast from the past), and are consistent throughout the album because of their importance to my development. I then took pages from my first grade school journal, with all her heartfelt honesty, and intertwined them. The bedroom pictures are relatively edited the same because my bedroom hasn’t changed much; I start the day with dappled sunlight. I get more open to experimentation when I exit the room and head outside to the patio, or next door to my grandmother’s house. Her pool holds the most memories, which is why it takes up the majority of the album. Times where I’m having fun with my family, or where I feel so isolated that I pretend I’m in the womb— they wrap up in a time capsule held underwater. There’s a juxtaposition between emotions that I tried to emulate as well, with all the mood swings I had as a child because of ‘circumstances.’ The haziness and faded senses of nostalgia linger, with bursts of childish whimsy. Each “day” is different— same start, different progression— and I’d like to keep it that way. Overall, I’m proud of my past and present self, and am wishing my future self a very special good luck!

Today hasn't been bad...my mood is slowly improving and as today was my Dad's birthday it was no day to feel down or stressed.

A lie in (sleep pattern is still all over the place) and even my Dad's present not appearing hasn't put too much of a blot on the day. So a day with all the family, and a summer evening in the hot tub was just what I needed for a thorough de-stress today. Happy Birthday Dad!

365 Project: Day 17 . Week 3

Theme: Metal

I wanted to be outside more often. The wind is fresher, the place is full of people, and there are plenty of things to do. Not really, there's not much for me to do out there alone. All I could do is to look at other people having fun. I can't even tell how pathetic that is.

Ack, I forgot to upload this yesterday! Anyway, this helps quench the thirst of a floor of Microsoft employees. (A crappy picture, but the only one I took yesterday, unfortunately.)

Wandering around outside the capital, you will see many things, including the children foliage outside of the Hyatt hotel. Little children, holding hands... Kind of creepy, kind of cute...

The Alan Parsons Project were a British progressive rock band, active between 1975 and 1990!

The band consisted of Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons surrounded by a varying number of session musicians and some relatively consistent band members such as guitarist Ian Bairnson, bassist and vocalist David Paton, and vocalist Lenny Zakatek

A small side project to fix a broken Rocktek brand chorus pedal. Not much required other than a good clean and service plus a new battery clip as the old one had corroded due to a burst battery leaking inside the case. Build date - early 1980s.

Sounds beautiful and so reminiscent of the 1980s. These are appreciating classics for not much outlay.
