Antique 8mm movie projector. (Revere P-90). Here, I had the projector running. I took this with my Minolta SRT-101, and Kodak Plus-X film. The exposure was 3 seconds at f/8.

You can get some interesting effects with long exposures. Notice that you can actually see through the hub of the film spools :)

The projectors for the sign are inside the wall. They project light onto mirrors which bounces out of the holes in the wall and onto the window. The windows have a light diffusing film on them.

Long exposure shot at the c-base

The Odeon goes Noir.

I bought a inexpensive projector almost four years ago. I have been

using the same bulb the entire time. Last night the bulb blew on me

and left me without a easy replacement option. LumenLabs the company

has moved onto other things and does not sell the bulb or even a close

description of what to replace it with. I ended up taking the

projector apart and found a few issues along with the bulb info. The

air filters were in great need of cleaning and one component had

melted a bit by coming loose inside the case. This is the replacement lamp I went with $55 plus $10 shipping.

The drums are seen in flight in the upper right corner of the photo.

Livens projectors were used in batteries of twenty-five and produced a massive flash and clouds of smoke when fired. As the drums were not aerodynamic, they tumbled end over end in the air.

These beam projectors were stripped of their aesbestos wiring and in the process the ceramic lamp bases were broken. The old lamp bases were a mogul pin base, and we replaced them with mogul prefocus, since the lamps are easier to come by (same as most 8" fresnels)
