Still experimenting with an old projector lens. Not having much luck - this is the best of the bunch - so any suggestion on how to use such a lens would be greatly appreciated.
Something a little different at Vivid (hard to do these days)! A handheld shot of the actual projectors when they are displaying block colours on the opera house. More than a dozen projectors erected on scaffold towers in front of the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay almost 500m away will beam their art across the water to light up the Opera House.
But the beauty of this year's Lighting of the Sails is more than skin-deep. As Roberts puts it: "Nothing gets programmed because it's pretty."
Songlines was devised by Roberts, the head of Indigenous programming at the Opera House, to reflect cultural knowledge and rites.
Honoring the the Lumière brothers, pioneers in filmmaking at the turn of the 20th Century.

Lichtspuren
Lichtspuren
is an audiovisual journey conceived by video artist Michael “Gene” Aichner, alias “Genelabo”, for the 100th anniversary celebrations of St. Martin-Moosach parish church.
The interplay of images, videos, light and sound make the church shine. Lichtspuren invites visitors to reflect, calm down and see the church with different eyes and enjoy the music.

Another test with the edar 100mm f/2,8 projector lens, not that sharp but making easily crazy light circles.
