I made some final modifications after this to bring the LCD panel closer to the overhead projector lens. This involved trimming the back on the monitor case so it was lower.

This gave better focus. I haven't had any problems with over heating.

Pentacon AV 1:2.8/80 projection lens

A photo of an antique 8mm movie projector...taken with film. (What else?)

I just bought this projector at an antique shop recently. It's awesome. It's in excellent condition and everything works great. I've already tried it with a few of my 8mm movies. Everything runs smooth and the image looks great. Not bad for a projector from the 1940's! I just happened to wander in the antique shop to look around, and I'm so glad I found this. It's a Revere P-90 8mm projector.

I took the picture with my Minolta SRT-101 camera, with Kodak Plus-X film. The exposure was 3 seconds at f/8 (available indoor light only, no flash). I actually developed the print on expired photo paper (from the 1970's!) but it turned out great.
