Picture of Nobuo this afternoon, perhaps a bit on the over-processed side... That's definitely his favorite place and pose, though.

Cyanotype from transparency negative. 12 minute exposure in bright sunlight.

this feels heavily processed would welcome your comments re processing, if you have the time.

curves and desaturated a little bit in GIMP (the red was very in your face) then a "San Carmen" effect in Aviary... (the Flickr built-in editing app)

More line intersection sketches - lines start from 2000 equally spaced sites around the perimeter, heading towards a site roughly opposite, and stop when they hit an existing line. Uses Marius Watz' line intersection code.

Example my post-processing work.

Basically I used Vintage wash preset from Rebecca Lily, but here is a lot of other post-production work. The jeans are re-colored, I laboured a lot with the sky structure (RAW+underexposition to get a clouds up) and colored them. I had also make face lighter, I colored the sky and the background. There are detailed exposure (darking, burn) work by brush partly on the picture. Finally I add a texture (amazing Florabella textures).

Processed with Snapseed.

Emulsion made from pansy petals.

The print using the pansy leaves for the emulsion didn't really work. 1 outta 2 ain't bad.

I'm naturally strawberry blonde and last July decided to go brunette and over the months continued to go darker and then added red highlights... I finally decided I'm over it (mainly for monetary and upkeep reasons because I'm not much of a high maintainence chick). I spent almost all day at the salon I used to work at while they stripped, processed, foiled and rocked out my hair. The next time it should be fully back to it's natural state :). We just had a lot of goofy fun during the whole process so I wanted to share it.

First the image was converted into a set data vectors in format (x,y,r,g,b), one for each pixel in image.

Then this 5D-data was projected to 2D-space using principal component analysis, The resulting image was rebuilt based on that reduced information.
