after painting all the copper work, I paint in the angel and the gilded ball at the top of the spire, starting with yellow ocher and working progressively into brighter and purer yellows

After the hawk catches a vole, he opens it up and removes the bad stuff, digestive system, and he does it very quickly and efficently, and then chucks these parts overboard, he also doesn't mess with the hind quarters, and overboard it goes also.
