Grindcore group Lower Back Problems playing The Basement, Canberra 6/8/11. Apart from the guitarist, they all looked very clean cut... specially for a grind group. Their logo was completely indecipherable on the gig flyer. Laughed when I heard their name was Lower Back Problems; was expecting a more predictable gore/horror/fatal disease themed band name.

I had some problems with lens-flare as I was using a ultra-wide lens in very strong sunlight.
If you ever get the chance to visit St. Anne's Park you should notice an old clock tower which is located in a walled garden. The walled garden, to which access is limited, contains a really big surprise in the form of an attractive Chinese Garden known as the "Ire-Su Chinese Garden". As this is the first time that I have got full access to the walled garden I was surprised to discover an attractive Chinese Garden. A lad who I had a chat with told me that it had been there for at least a hundred years and that surprised me as it appeared to be new. About ten minutes later she returned and told me that here friend told here that it was installed in 2012 [not 1912 as she had believed].
The garden was first shown at the Bloom Festival in 2011 and it was designed by workers from the Suzhou Garden Bureau, which looks after nine famous UNESCO-listed gardens in China. Parts of the garden were relocated to St Anne's Park in Raheny after the festival as a gift to coincide with Dublin's twinning with Beijing in 2012.

Bensenville found themselves in another bad situation, when 2 heritage SD70ACUs were in position to lead but both didn't have well-functioning PTC. So we nearly ended up with a long hood forward Dash 9, but that didn't happen either. They ended up going with the 7013. 7011 ended up being put trailing on Q166 and then it had to lead after an axle locked up on the CP 8164, which was just out of rebuild.
PROBLEM: My necklaces and bracelets are in a big knotted ball. I can’t see them much less untangle them to wear.
SOLUTION: Alice Liberson, owner of Dogma in Ann Arbor, has an idea. Hang them on a cylinder of some sort. In the picture, Alice took a plastic cylinder, and using clear string, attached the cylinder to the shelf. In this example Alice hung collars, alternatively, you could hang necklaces and bracelets. Great idea, and way to recycle Alice!
HINT: A paper towel tube could also work.
Couldn't sleep this morning, so I drove down to snap up the sunrise. Problem: it is not always sunny in this fair town. But it was still great to be around for all the crews starting practice.

You think that elastic band tightened with bailing wire pressing the shift cable to the frame might be the culprit?
When I left my hotel at 6am that morning, I filled up my camelback bladder with ice water. After my warm-up hike up to Inspiration peak, I started hiking up to Lost Horse Mine. It's only two miles along the short side of the trail to get from the trailhead to the mine itself.
As I neared the mine, at 10:30am, it was starting to get rather warm. That's when I discovered that I was out of water in my bladder. I took the bladder out of the backpack to discover that that I drank all of the water and that the ice hadn't melted quite as quickly as I thought it would.
So, while I wandered around the mine, taking some photos, I left the bladder sitting on the hot sand, in the sun. It didn't all melt, but it melted enough to get me halfway back to the trailhead. Then I had to take the bladder out and just throw it over my shoulder.
In the grand scheme of things, having ice instead of water isn't all that big of a problem to have, but it was still a bit annoying.
