A few more old process pics.

I hadn't quite anticipated the need for lots of room inside the torso to hide the knots. I could have tried to place them inside the head but I wasn't up to figuring out how. As a resiult the torso joint movement is a bit hampered.

So, this is sorta what happened. The TTHL, (top tube head lug) was on its way to match the BTHL, and sorta ended up here, and I like it better. The extensions on the DTHL were added, I knew it wasn’t going to match, but I thought maybe I could find something in between and then continue with the TTHL to match. Looks like two separate sets is a possibility.

I went to 'Career Exploration' day at the employment centre in the hope of finding a job. We participated in a team building activity to the begin the session. The objective was to balance 11 large nails on top of another nail that was secured to a wooden block. A guy in our group solved it after 22 minutes of our unsuccessful attempts. Frankly, it blew my mind.

The problem with the annual Space Home & Garden Show is that it always makes us want a grander home on a higher mountain with a state-of-the-art televideo system. Well, it's good to dream, isn't it?

PROBLEM or NO PROBLEM?

The Australian Defence Forces are experiencing a "big kangaroo problem" in Canberra, the national capital. This sign is near Duntroon, the Army officer training facility. It shows just how big the kangaroos are.

The Problem: The harsh Jerusalem sunshine just washes out the LX3's LCD, and I haven't used the camera in half a year.

On top of the LX3 in the image is a Voigtlander 25mm viewer, found recently in my photo stuff junk drawer. Since the LX3's wide end is 24mm, this viewer is ideal.

Trivia: The reflection in the viewer is from an LED flashlight ;-) HMM!

Thoughts?

There are problems with the touchscreens "they fail unpredictably, and in very strange ways; voters report that their votes 'flip' from one candidate to another before their eyes; machines crash or start to count backward; and votes simply disppear" (Election '08).

Tracila Gonsalves on rocking Chair

So, I started this morning eager to fix our car (Anacani and I). What was supposed to be a quick 10 minute replacement, turned into a 6 hour nightmare!

All I needed was to remove two bolts, sure they aren't easy to reach, but I figured I didn't need to remove the alternator and use a little wrench to get those bolts out. Well, it turned out the part I was to replace (EGR valve) was the original factory part (22 years old!).

The bolts were practically fused! I managed to remove one properly, but the other was stubborn and stripped. Now I had to remove the alternator. I tried everything! I tried to oil it, to use WD-40 to break up the rust. I even used vice grips, which worked for a bit, but just stripped it even more.

I had to bring in the grinder, so I made the bolt into a "screw" and tried to use a screwdriver, no luck. So I figured the vice grips AND the screwdriver. Boy was I ecstatic, it WORKED!

After I got the bolt to turn half way, I repositioned the vice grips, tried to turn it again, and SNAP! Broke the bolt, now it's closing in on the time I have to take Anacani to work.

So I decided to take the rest of the night off and start again tomorrow.

algebra problems Algebra equations are the equations of the form algebraic variables with some numerical co-efficient. Algebra equation contains the terms like numbers, integers, fractions, roots, exponents, ratios, graphing etc. Pre algebra equation is the simple equation which can be solved easily without any complex calculations.

yospyn.com - You come across all kinds of problems when shooting film, but here are my least favorite so far. Newton Rings are always a problem when scanning on a flatbed. Even beneath specially coated glass with completely flattened film, you'll get the rings. This is why "wet scans" and drum scans are so much better.

Then yesterday I received two rolls back from my lab with dots across every frame. Especially in the sky and road surfaces where there's not much detail. It appears this was a problem with two rollers in the processing tank that fit this symmetrical shape. Whatever residue or imprint they make on the film was not cleared during the final rinse. The lab was cool about it though and I'll get credit, but I'm not sure if this is from a faulty machine or faulty maintenance.

Feel free to share your film woes here.

One of the problems of taking too long to put a set of photographs up on flickr is that it’s quite possible to forget the location where you took them. The pictures were taken on one of our many visits to other people’s gardens as our way of having a pleasant afternoon out, gaining inspiration from the talents of others, and giving our support for charity.

The pictures are a mixture of the plants and the general layout of the garden plus some of the people who were minding their own business and doing what we were doing, i.e. admiring the garden.

If you’ve looked at the pictures I hope you gain some enjoyment from them. Feel free to make comments, good, bad or indifferent!

oh dear ... it started -.- ... never had this before ... but I saw how it ends X_X

it's not very visible yet ... hope it doesn't get worse ... otherwise she'll get a new face up ...

I hate this ... spending so much money and then this happens!

This is what we saw under the microscope. Almost everywhere we pointed it, we saw a similar pattern. The question was: Are these bumps? Or are they holes?

I was so angry all my hard work that even one plant seamed to shrivel up and die.

the next few days i still left the dry stump and watering it for many days ,disgusted i dug it out with my hands just to see how well the roots grew. to my surprise a full respectable amount of growth occurred , i was ready to toss it to the side till one more .thought came to mind.

i dug my thumb nail into the side of the bark and it was still bright green underneath .

I replanted it.

Yesterday i just noticed three new buds forming on what i thought was dead .. all my other Deutzia cuttings are doing well just this one problem child.
