Ho scoperto solo qualche giorno fa che il mio monitor ha dei problemi e mi sono accorta che molte foto che ho inserito non sono come io le vedevo sul mio computer. Sono davvero spiacente. Ve la ripropongo nuovamente così come l'avevo pensata...

una pena questa sera in Flickr:

The Mighty Eiger and the Wetterhorn reflected on The Fallbodensee . No. 1411.
"The Eiger is a 3,970-metre (13,020 ft) mountain of the Bernese Alps, overlooking Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland, just north of the main watershed and border with Valais. It is the easternmost peak of a ridge crest that extends across the Mönch to the Jungfrau at 4,158 m (13,642 ft), constituting one of the most emblematic sights of the Swiss Alps. While the northern side of the mountain rises more than 3,000 m (10,000 ft) above the two valleys of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, the southern side faces the large glaciers of the Jungfrau-Aletsch area, the most glaciated region in the Alps. The most notable feature of the Eiger is its 1,800-metre-high (5,900 ft) north face of rock and ice, named Eigerwand or Nordwand, which is the biggest north face in the Alps.[3] This huge face towers the resort of Kleine Scheidegg at its base, on the homonymous pass connecting the two valleys.
The first ascent of the Eiger was made by Swiss guides Christian Almer and Peter Bohren (de) and Irishman Charles Barrington, who climbed the west flank on August 11, 1858. The north face, considered amongst the most challenging and dangerous ascents, was first climbed in 1938 by an Austrian-German expedition.[4] The Eiger has been highly-publicized for the many tragedies involving climbing expeditions. Since 1935, at least sixty-four climbers have died attempting the north face, earning it the German nickname Mordwand, literally "murder(ous) wall"—a pun on its correct title of Nordwand (North Wall).[5]
Although the summit of the Eiger can be reached by experienced climbers only, a railway tunnel runs inside the mountain, and two internal stations provide easy access to viewing-windows carved into the rock face. They are both part of the Jungfrau Railway line, running from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch, between the Mönch and the Jungfrau, at the highest railway station in Europe. The two stations within the Eiger are Eigerwand (behind the north face) and Eismeer (behind the south face), at around 3,000 metres.
The Eiger is mentioned in records dating back to the 13th century, but there is no clear indication of how exactly the peak gained its name. The three mountains of the ridge are commonly referred to as the Virgin (German: Jungfrau – translates to "virgin" or "maiden"), the Monk (Mönch), and the Ogre (Eiger; the standard German word for ogre is Oger). The name has been linked to the Latin term acer, meaning "sharp" or "pointed", but more commonly to the German eigen, meaning "own".

Passing through paradise.
One of the most amazing nights of the whole holiday was when we moved from south to north, in the afternoon we were in Jokulsarlon and sky was totally clear so we decided to move and spend the night on the road, and was a great idea.
We spent almost sunset and sunrise driving and shooting in Oxi pass that cuts Iceland from south to north, beautiful and spectacular gravelroad pass with slopes of 17% which fortunately our car has passed without problems.
This is one of the shots of this magnificent night.

Passando attraverso il paradiso.
Una delle nottate più incredibili di tutta la vacanza l'abbiamo vissuta quando siamo passati da sud a nord, nel pomeriggio eravamo a Jokulsarlon e visto il cielo limpido abbiamo deciso di muoverci e di viaggiare tutta la notte, decisione a dir poco azzeccata.
Abbiamo passato praticamente tramonto e alba in macchina vagando prima sulla costa meridionale e poi sul passo Oxi che taglia da sud a nord l'isola, passo bellissimo e spettacolare con pendenze del 17% che fortunatamente la nostra vettura ha superato senza problemi.
Questo è uno degli scatti di quella magnifica nottata.

Analogica, Pentax S3 ( 1960 ), Takumar 50 mm F 1.4 Fujicolor C 200, sviluppo con Tetenal. Questa S3 ( quasi identica alla Pentax S1A che già possiedo ) ha dei problemi. Ho controllato la tenda, i tempi e il meccanismo che apre e chiude il diaframma e sembra tutto perfetto ma mi ha scattato tutte le foto come se avessi impostato il diaframma sempre alla massima apertura e logicamente la messa a fuoco non è precisa ( se la esposizione è sbagliata si modifica la profondità di campo ).

Analogica, Pentax S3 ( 1960 ), MIR 1B 37 mm F 2.8, Fomapan 200, sviluppo con Rodinal. Dopo i primi tre disastrosi rullini ho provato a usare solo obiettivi senza ritorno automatico del diaframma ( come ho fatto con la Pentax S2 ) e questa volta le foto sono venute abbastanza bene
Non c'è tempo da perdere con i problemi umani.

My last 4 days in Rio were full of rain, they said that a cold front was blocked in that area of Brazil. On the fly back to Italy, after a couple of hours, we received the communication that we would have a stopover in Recife, due to technical problems. As the plane lost altitude I was struck by the beauty of the coast and the endless beaches full of sun.
So when I planned to go back to Rio I thought it would be a good idea to first stop in Recife for 10 days to enjoy those beautiful beaches - Here you see, from the balcony of my apartment in the Jangadeiro Hotel, the wonderful beach of Boa Viagem in Recife

Gli ultimi 4 giorni a Rio furono pieni di pioggia, dicevano che un fronte freddo fosse bloccato in quella zona del Brasile. Dopo un paio d'ore nel volo di ritorno in Italia ci arrivò la comunicazione che avremmo fatto uno scalo di un'ora, per problemi tecnici, nell'aeroporto di Recife. Mentre l'aereo perdeva quota rimasi colpito dalla bellezza della costa e delle spiagge infinite e piene di sole.
Così quando pianificai il mio ritorno a Rio pensai bene di scendere prima a Recife per 10 giorni per godere di quelle belle spiagge. Qui la vista, dal balcone del mio appartamento nell'albergo Jangadeiro, della stupenda spiaggia di Boa Viagem a Recife
In questi giorni non so quanto potrà essere "al computer" (problemi familiari) per cui scusatemi se visiterò in modo meno "assiduo" del solito il vostro stream

PIEMONTE-ITALY- ( Dov'è l'acqua ? In tempi normali questa foto sarebbe stata impossibile da scattare, perchè a marzo questo torrente e colmo d'acqua che scorre vorticosa,(sono al centro dell'alveo del torrente) solitamente queste situazioni si verificano in piena estate.
Questi sono problemi veri che bisognerà affrontare al più presto, invece in Europa c'è un pazzo da legare, che pensa a fare la guerra per soddisfare il suo ego malato.)
(Il torrente da me fotografato è un affluente del fiume Pellice, anch'esso in grave sofferenza idrica, a pochi km da Torino)

Chi ha visto la foto che ho pubblicato ieri sa già dove ci troviamo.
La maschera napoletana del Teatro dell'Arte per antonomasia è Pulcinella. Incarna la plebe napoletana, l'uomo più semplice, quello che nella scala sociale occupa l’ultimo posto, l'uomo che pur conscio dei propri problemi riesce sempre a venirne fuori con un sorriso.
Egli è chiamato a rappresentare l’anima del popolo e i suoi istinti primitivi, appare quasi sempre in contraddizione, tanto da non avere dei tratti fissi: è ricco o povero, si adatta a fare tutti i mestieri oltre al servo fedele eccolo fornaio, oste, contadino, ladro e venditore di intrugli miracolosi, è prepotente o codardo, e talvolta presenta l’uno e l’altro tratto contemporaneamente prendendosi gioco dei potenti.
La qualità che contraddistingue meglio Pulcinella è la sua furbizia, ed è proprio con la sua proverbiale furbizia che egli riesce a trovare la capacità di risolvere i problemi più disparati che gli si parano davanti sempre però in favore dei più deboli a discapito dei potenti.

Nella giornata mondiale per la salvaguardia della terra, pubblico questa foto di un Fiorrancino volutamente vignettata per rendere più tragico il messaggio, potremmo tra qualche anno non poter più fare foto simili a soggetti che sono a rischio di estinzione ! l’inquinamento e il riscaldamento del pianeta stanno creando grossi problemi se noi umani non faremo subito qualcosa ! é richiesto l’impegno di tutti … e subito !!!

A causa di lavori di adeguamento alla sagoma limite sotto la galleria dei colli Euganei, tutti i treni merci in transito sulla linea Padova - Bologna sono stati deviati in altre linee nel periodo dal 11 Luglio al 07 Settembre 2018. Per un breve periodo poi non più effettuato dati i numerosi problemi riscontrati, il merci che da Venezia Marghera Scalo giunge a Rovigo è stato effettuato via Vicenza - Verona - Legnago. In foto la D.753.003 di Sistemi Territoriali traina il ritorno vuoto classificato MRV 72392 da Rovigo a Venezia Marghera Scalo, qui in transito presso Lendinara (RO).

La sera del primo giorno del Nuovo Anno con un abbraccio della mia città a tutti Voi amici miei con l'augurio che tutti i problemi possano risolversi nel segno della Pace.
Da 11 anni nessun treno transitava più dalla stazione di Barbaresco, a causa dei problemi alla galleria Ghersi, che costrinsero l'interruzione del tratto Alba-Asti.
Con l'impegno di Fondazione FS in concerto con RFI questi problemi si sono dimostrati del tutto sormontabili, fino a riportare il treno sui binari. Per ora solo servizio turistico, ma si auspica ad un servizio regolare passeggeri in un futuro vicino.
In foto, la sbuffante 640.143 accelera agilmente sulla rampa che conduce a Neive, resa ancora più impegnativa dalle circa 400t di carrozze trainate.
It's been 11 years since trains haven't been running on Alba-Castagnole, because of noncompliance of Ghersi tunnel. Thanks to Fondazione FS and RFI, works have been made to adequate the tunnel, and make the leg accessible again to trains.

Il mio vecchio Mac fisso si è rotto, la riparazione sembra impossibile. Sul suo Iphoto avevo migliaia di foto analogiche divise in varie "categorie", le ho salvate su un hard-disk ma ora sono senza un ordine preciso e non so più che foto ho caricato su Flickr in passato. Ho due Mac portatili ma molto vecchi e non riesco a collegarli allo scanner, per un lungo periodo forse non potrò più scattare nuove foto ( se non le posso vedere e condividere non ha molto senso...) In questo momento devo pagare la nuova casa e fare dei lavori e non posso spendere soldi per comperare altri computer, continuerò a commentare le foto degli amici su Flickr ma metterò poche mie foto, con il piccolo schermo dei portatili e la mia cattiva vista non riesco nemmeno a vedere se sono buone immagini.
