Película documental independiente sobre un problema de descolonización sin resolver desde hace casi cuarenta años: el Sahara Occidental. Aunque se ha rodado mucho sobre el tema, "Misión: Sáhara" ofrece un punto de vista original: la versión del conflicto desde la oposición al régimen en el interior de la potencia ocupante, Marruecos, y la odisea en forma de aventura de un grupo de jóvenes brigadistas para lograr esos testimonios.
Estos jóvenes Brigadistas equipados con cámaras de vídeo y con la colaboración de las organizaciones de derechos humanos que trabajan sobre el terreno, llevaron a cabo un programa de trabajo con diferentes enfoques y con los diferentes actores del conflicto, con el fin de presentar la situación dramática que se vive en la ex‐colonia española. El fotógrafo Carlos Mateo (Valladolid, 1985), natural de Medina del Campo, participó en calidad de cámara y fotógrafo en el proyecto sobre el terreno en el que realizó el documental
Este documental "de guerrilla" está dirigido por Arturo Dueñas (Valladolid, 1962). Licenciado en Filología Hispánica y diplomado en Cinematografía, ha sido profesor de Lengua y Literatura Españolas en las Universidades de Tartu (Estonia), Budapest, Mossoró (Brasil) y Lisboa. Organizó la I Semana de Cine Español de Tallinn y ha participado en el Festival de Teatro Escolar de Bratislava. Se formó en el Aula de Teatro de la Universidad de Valladolid y en el Centro de Investigación Actoral Espacio Abierto, el máster en Escritura de Guion de la Universidad de Salamanca y el Filmmaking Course de la New York Film Academy. Ha dirigido los cortos ‘Run, run, run’ (2007) y ‘Pucela Square’ (2008). Una copia de trabajo de su película ‘Aficionados’ se exhibió en las Proyecciones Especiales de la 54 Semana, ‘Corsarios’ en Castilla y León en Largo de la 58 Semana de Cine de Valladolid y 'Misión Sáhara' en la misma sección de la 59 Seminci.

Tentative identification. This tattered individual caused problems with identification because it had lost the spectacular filaments and distinctive "eye" markings which used to be at the tail-end of its wings. It is thought that such markings fool birds into pecking at that end of the insect, anticipating it to attempt to flee in that direction. When the butterfly flees in the unexpected direction it might leave a bit of hind wing in the bird's beak but survives. Such an adventure might have befallen this damaged individual.
I painted this with arcrylic on a posterboard I got at the store... It's the album Dog Problems by The Format.

Non si smette di giocare perche’ si diventa vecchi, ma si diventa vecchi perche’ si smette di giocare.
Io e lei, insieme, anche se non facevamo niente, non avevamo la sensazione di perdere tempo.
Non conosco la strada per tornare indietro e non ne vedo una.
Spesso cio’ che e’ meglio non e’ quello che fa star meglio.
Era una tristezza profondamente malinconica ma serena.
Diamoci una possibilità, prima di perderci per sempre

The main problem with the Willapa Hills trail is its incompleteness. Bridges out or not retrofitted for bike use, sections where the original railroad ballast remains, etc. Basically I stuck to SR 6 and looked at the rail trail wistfully.

It is said that you can write your problems on the paper, tie it on the tree branches in the shrine. Once the rain comes to wash away the papers, your problems will disappear too.

We collected problems on the North (Serb) side of the Ibar river, and sent them to the South (Albanian) side of the Ibar to be solved. And vice-versa. On March 27–28, 2014, O’Brien & Gere, in partnership with Syracuse University's College of Engineering and Computer Science, hosted its second annual SPARK Innovation Competition in Syracuse, New York.
