Gorgeous colours :-)
I threw the first short length out, and wound on. Then I came to another break, and another, and another...

Flamboyant komon, for which I have no obi. Hand-painted peonies on a just-barely-yellow white background. Hakakke and facings are cherry-colored gradating to white lining.

We all wake up now and then from a deep sleep, with a troubling math question that has just popped into our heads. Here's one:
In space, objects A and B are orbiting a common point. Object A is radius r from the center. Object B is at 2r from the central point. At time zero, A and B form a line with the center of the circle. A and B are traveling at the same velocity. At time zero + x, are we always able to calculate the distance between A' and B'? (This scenario doesn't need to involve space. It could involve two ants, walking around in circles on a piece of paper, etc.)
Any gardeners out there who would know what has happened to one of my fave plants, my Fuchsia 'Margaret'? I've had this plant more than 10 years now and it grows quite large, so needs pruning every year, but although it has many flowers, a lot of the plant it strivelled. I don't think it's thirsty, as we've had a reasonable amount of rain lately.
The problem
Time and time again I encounter comic books or strips from comics that include horrendous art of a female character. The bodies are not only drawn in a way that is completely unrealistic but also highly sexualized.
People of all ages read comics. ALL AGES! The younger comic readers see this and it could either:
1. Make them feel insecure about their own selves and 2. Make them feel very uncomfortable and 3. Potentially make their parents stop them from reading comics.
Nothing bothers me more than knowing the majority of characters that are drawn like this are kids and teenagers. The artists and everyone who approves of the way they are drawn are agreeing to the sexualization of kids and young adults. Yet, no one apparently finds this to be an issue. At least, not enough for something to be done about it.
The outfits
Many female heroes and villains suits are incredibly sexualized and impractical. How can anyone possibly fight or do anything for that matter in those outfits? They are in intense risk of getting hurt with all of their body exposed. Male heroes and villains rarely have suits like these because their suits make sense, are practical and are rarely sexualized to the extent of females. I'm well aware there is sexualization of the male characters too and this is clearly also an issue. In my opinion, it occurs much less frequently than with females.
While most students are in hurry for class during mid-day, the security guards are on their lunch break. Irregularity parking is unavoidable.

I had retired my trusty HP PhotoSmart C945 because it took several pictures that looked like this, under different lighting conditions and in situations separated by a couple of days. I had considered getting it fixed but the budget wouldn't allow it; and it seemed that the cost of replacement would be lower. But I miss the 945, and didn't ever actually get rid of it....

This Bald Eagle was sitting on the top of a utility pole with its breakfast. When if flew, I tried to catch the action. But mirrorless cameras have built in lag between what you see in the view finder and what's actually happening. Hence, the mis-framed shot.
