This fantastic piece of street art is on a wall of the building opposite the stage door of one of the theatres (The Regent) in Hanley, Stoke On Trent.

Despite the ravages of age, the frescoes on the ceiling of the Rock Church at Sumela Monastery, Turkey, are still beautiful. The Rock Church is built into a rocky cave at the ancient monastery and the frescoes, with their biblical motifs, date back to the 18th C. Since layers of frescoes are from three different time periods, older frescoes underlay the ones that are currently visible, making restoration very difficult.

What more could you ask for? Turmeaus has a number of locations throughout in the UK, but this colorful little shop is on White Horse Street, just off Piccadilly near Hyde Park.
The swallow dome (lantern dome, tüteklikli) of the Erzurum Grand Mosque, dating to 1179, was built using the corbelling technique, in which square or nearly square, rectangular spaces are protected by an overhead covering that is built of pieces of wood (or stone) overlaid on top of each other diagonally, starting from the corners.

It might be from last summer. The last one of this year. Or the last one I'll photograph. But who can resist a good sunset? More than likely, it's the last one from Walborn Reservoir this summer.
Rover is pleased to see his friends, and his reflection in the pool. The fish, rocks and ripples are images printed on a transparent sheet.
The dog is obviously a toy and a mirror under the transparency reflects the dog's head.
The image is 2.5 inches in length.
