Myself... Few Years Ago

When Photography was safe to take, or download to computer.

Time of my life, when I just loved my photos were being taken. Loving photography especially when it is safe.

And quite RIGHTFULLY (( as should be )

I could decide for myself and work or show only photos, I found best to work with or post.

Because... It is ME, ONLY.... who decide what I can show.

Time of SAFETY of Privacy.

Time of my life, when I could enjoy checking my photos, without peepers. Without SPY. It was FUN.

NOW.. Why hurry taking the photos ?

Or why downloading it to any of my computers, if I can't view them without YOU, for example peeping at me or my photos.

I have the RIGHT in my HOME for privacy.

Me and my family has the RIGHT to download any photos we wish without peepers or spy.

Time to do something to respect the privacy of the other, or show them, what they should see and know..

Where the FUN Went, just tell me to enjoy personal photos..

FOR THOSE RESPECTING MY PRIVACY i THANKS GREATLY.

Enjoy the weekend...

Third build in my homemaker series. A bit of a repeat with the honey tiles but they just went really well with the light yellow duplo tub. To bring in some new colours I choose to add some minty pastels. Really happy with the over all presentation and my favourite parts are the hanger, the shower curtains and the drain pipe below the sink.

I've always loved these hedge entrances! Found one closer to home than ever thought I would.

Sunset at Secret Beach in Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor in Oregon, USA. The beach features a waterfall from Miller Creek that pours directly out onto the sand and into the ocean. In the right light, you can see stark contrasts and gradations in the water as they range from deep green tones to blue hues. Secret Beach also has a unique set of sea stacks (rock formations) between 50-200 yards from the sand. It gives the beach an enclosed feeling of privacy despite the large panoramic views it offers. Samuel J Boardman State Park on the southern Oregon coast is but a part of several geological wonders on the Oregon coast. The length of the park is 20 miles along the coast and that means 20 miles of spectacular beauty, coastal headlands, hiking trails and more. Seaside prairies, spectacular vistas, secluded cove beaches, rugged cliffs and forested sea stacks come one after the other at this park.

High Kingsdown is a post-war inner-suburban housing development that lies less than a kilometre north of Bristol's city centre, and to the east of St Michael's Hill. The estate occupies an area of approximately 3.25 hectares containing (mainly) low-rise houses arranged in a herringbone layout that can only be fully appreciated from an aerial viewpoint. Walled gardens, alleyways (like the one visible in the photograph) and courtyards combine to create a degree of privacy for residents that is unusual for high-density housing of this era. The scheme was constructed between 1971 and 1975, based on an overall development plan produced by Anthony Mackay of Whicheloe, Macfarlane and Towning Hill, with later re-planning by JT Group to increase the level of pedestrianisation even further. Following completion High Kingsdown won several national and international awards for the quality of its design.

The site had previously been developed in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Those predominantly Georgian buildings first suffered bomb damage in the Second World War, were then neglected in the years that followed and finally succumbed to demolition by Bristol City Council after it acquired the site in the late nineteen-fifties. However, the housing renewal here could have turned out quite differently; initial plans covered the site with three slab blocks each of sixteen storeys. Concerned pressure groups protested against those plans with such vigour that they were never pursued, and ultimately the successful outcome we see today was realised.

The period of High Kingsdown's construction fell neatly within the time of my secondary school career, endured enjoyed just a few streets away from here. If I'd been interested in such things back then I could have easily made a detour from my normal route to the bus station and observed the work in progress.

Karoo Thrush

The Karoo Thrush (Turdus smithi) is an interesting bird found primarily in South Africa. Here are some fascinating facts about it:

It's often one of the very first birds to begin the dawn chorus, sometimes starting its song when it's still quite dark.

The family name "Thrush" comes from an old English word "thrusche," which described a cheerful person, likely due to their melodious songs.

Well, I didn't like this picture from the start, but unfortunately, I have to go to work, so this was my end result. I lost all my evening sun so my window sort of blew everything out. Anyway, the concept was that I was glad to be able to walk around in my underwear again. You forget how much you enjoy your privacy until it's gone. If you don't believe me, walk around in your underwear ;) Oh, and sorry for all the books, I'm still unpacking, HA!

1 more day of work. I want to do something big for Monday, I've been thinking about it all weekend so here's to that!
