Same principle as with Silly Putty...with bologna having both grease and moisture, I KNEW this would work.Here I used an image of the XTC CD cover for their "Apple Venus" CD...

It's refreshing when you keep studying the same subject but you look at it from another perspective or use a different medium.
These leaf prints were made by painting watercolor on real leaves and pressing them on watercolor paper. They were based on a leaf printing project from Water, Paper, Paint, a wonderful and inspiring book that I have also mentioned before.

Beautiful old building in Colonial Williamsburg. The printing press is in the basement, which you enter from the back. Behind this building is another building, which houses the book bindery.

Love this mouse! Part of a pair of mice for the top table at a wedding later this week, the bride-to-be is a screen printer, so I made up a tiny printing screen from translucent clay and trimmed matchsticks. And of course she's covered in ink ;)
