This was a very big job of screen printing that my son Doug did for his girlfriend's GrandParents 50th Wedding Anniversary! 50 years! They are the sweetest couple!!!
They did not have a formal wedding when they were married so they re-newed their vows at a mass and had a big reception that was ALOT OF FUN!!! Doug Did a WONDERFUL Job on the printed materials with his assistant Monica : ) at his side.
Ever wondered how fishermen recorded the size and species of their catches before the invention of photography?
The old Japanese printing technique of Gyotaku or ‘fish rubbing’ provided a solution. This session was led by artists Eleanor Morgan and Sam Curtis of the Centre for Innovative and Radical Fishmongery.
This event was part of the Grant Musuem's current exhibition called Glass Delusions.
In this exhibition of prints, drawings, videos and objects, Artist in Residence Eleanor Morgan explores the slippery boundary between living and non-living materials. Her work is inspired by the Grant Museum's collection of intricate glass sponges – animals that naturally build themselves out of glass – they are formed of 90% silica.

Look at how much of a ripoff Brightroom photography is. They take pictures at events, and offer prints of the photographs for sale afterwards. Fine, legitimate business. But if I want to pay for digital downloads of the 7 pictures they took of me, look how much it costs - $51.99 for 7 pictures. Oh, but they offer me FREE SHIPPING as part of my download, how nice of them. AND, if I'm stupid enough, they'll even let me add additional copies of the same digital download to my cart, and charge me $51.99 each time (it works, I tried adding them to my cart and checked the total). This is a complete ripoff, what a joke.
