This printmaking was done by my brother, when I saw this printing, I'm so surprised by it. Really beautiful work..
A different medium for me. This is a conceptual piece regarding the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and the intercession of Mother Mary, being symbolized by the roses intertwined around the triangle. Fall, 2014.
4" x 11" monotype of about ten impressions of waterbased ink on a woodblock, then pulled onto damp handmade paper with a baren
fun stuff!
This is a 16x20 woodcut print that was printed on my handmade cotton paper. it was seriously one of the hardest things I have carved to date.
Facsimile datebook. Giftwrap (Marcel Shurman Co.?) Opaque drawing inks on dark blue index paper, with linen finish.
started to make some backgrounds for the reduction print but ended up making this while thinking about the colors...found some things I want to change
about 15 baren pulled impressions, Akua Kolor ink on Sekishu
Ghost prints (3?) used as base for the Exquisite Corpse - holiday edition postcard. Acrylic paints on Canson mixed media paper. Gingko leaves and autumn clematis as some of the printing elements.

chylnd: @rypat thank you Ryan! I'm making plates for my thesis doc and will be using the graphics lab to make a good amount of them. I'm enjoying the limits of the process and working with my hands for a change...
12" x 5" 4 block print
Well the carving is done for the most part. Now to fix a slight registration problem with the background block and then decide on some colors. I almost like the bottom image the best, which is the reverse of the one above it.
3rd in a series of collagraphs made from discarded wallpaper samples and printed with Akua Colors applied a la poupée before printing on an etching press
The Takach Press is set up in my studio and is ready to use. What an incredible press! A super thumbs up to the guys at Takach in Albuquerque for making me such a beautiful press.

I've made about 6 of these and now I'm carving the 4th block on a 4 block moku hanga-ish version, but I'm finding it a little difficult to carve the shapes that arent what you actually see when your brain thinks "trees" if that makes sense.
And a few experimental cards. Absolutely love making cards this way. I have a 4" round plate chilling right now :)
