spectrUM is a hands-on science center. They came to us with nothing more than a name and we gleefully helped them build a brand. Starting with the premise that a hands-on science center deserved hands-on advertising we created a series of science experiments in print and through more unconventional media all over town. From showing old science movies on the side of a bank during the gallery walk, to creating and distributing science experiments in bags to local restaurants, we gave it our full court press and helped spectrUM have a truly grand opening. Today they are literally bulging at the seams with success.

This is a collection of front pages and special sections that I designed while at the Washington Times-Reporter.
Special section that highlighted a basketball tournament hosted by our local high school. Other than the basketball story itself, the execution of this package from photos to number to graphics, this project was mine from conception to publication. It was the first year the paper tried something like this after I approached the publisher with the idea.

Print inspired by the innards of a stylophone. Drawin in Illustrator, then recolored in Photoshop. This is designed for menswear.

The guide shows 2 interactive transparent maps, one of Manhattan, the other one of the whole city of New York. These maps are part of the cover and, once they are folded on specific pages, the information appear.

First National Bank of Montana changed their charter from a national one to a local one and in the process changed their name to First Montana Bank. To make the transition, they needed a full-scale advertising, PR, and branding blitz. From a logo revision, stationery, business cards, collateral, rate cards, and interior signage to PR, and print, radio, outdoor and web-based advertising with a redesigned website to boot, we helped the bank make a seamless transition.
K2M makes products for complex spine damage. The products are as innovative as the spine damage is disturbing. I have been part of the team branding them through their phenomenal growth, like this sales brochure that highlighted the testing data on a new rod material. As dry as the material sounds (and it is), K2M wanted something that suggested both professionalism without looking strictly like a technical document. They were exactitic about the final piece.

The new style Ski Holidays brochure is the first to launch, and is a compelling & punchy 240 page brochure with fabulous imagery and intuitive, user-friendly navigation. Truly a ‘keep sake’ information guide to some of the best skiing available.

We designed and created a series of master brochure templates for Equity’s flagship schools brochure. Whilst naturally respecting their corporate guidelines, we were also given a free rein to break out and design something with real impact. With our approach to typography, colourways, imagery & iconography, a striking new brochure was created and Equity School Ski are delighted with the finished result.
