Linda has worked in marketing communications for more than 30 years. Her experience ranges from corporate high tech (she helped launch the first commercial CD-ROM application) to higher education, conference and trade show promotions, publications marketing and consulting and more. Her expertise is in direct marketing and advertising, market strategy and planning, and Web site strategy, architecture, navigation and content.
She trained CNN.com’s marketing managers on Web content strategy and usability, and trained and consulted with the nationwide staff of the American Electronics Association on content usability and strategy for their Web site. She wrote a book in 1996, HR Manager's Guide to the Internet; helped found and served on the Board of Directors of the New Media Society of Washington; taught basics of Direct Marketing for the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW), Board of Directors for VA Piedmont Tech Council and judged entries for DMAW's annual creative awards competition.

The brochure has been designed in large format 240mm X 340, perfect bound with beautiful graphical foiled cover. The latest edition, is part of a stable of destination brochures (also designed by Wild Dog) and Indus now has a distinctive stable of high-end & elegant marketing literature.

spectrUM is a hands-on science center. They came to us with nothing more than a name and we gleefully helped them build a brand. Starting with the premise that a hands-on science center deserved hands-on advertising we created a series of science experiments in print and through more unconventional media all over town. From showing old science movies on the side of a bank during the gallery walk, to creating and distributing science experiments in bags to local restaurants, we gave it our full court press and helped spectrUM have a truly grand opening. Today they are literally bulging at the seams with success.

This is a collection of front pages and special sections that I designed while at the Washington Times-Reporter.
Special section that highlighted a basketball tournament hosted by our local high school. Other than the basketball story itself, the execution of this package from photos to number to graphics, this project was mine from conception to publication. It was the first year the paper tried something like this after I approached the publisher with the idea.
