Project Briefing: It was another project from my previous client Garry Dickson from USA a very wonderful man. He owns a Collage too. It was my second work with him and he said Tanvir Rahman I need a work from you done. I said I am ready for the challenge and said I need to make a bi-fold brochure for his collage and gave me some suggestions and requirement. I made according to him and he said exactly what he wanted and gave me another few couple of bucks.

spectrUM is a hands-on science center. They came to us with nothing more than a name and we gleefully helped them build a brand. Starting with the premise that a hands-on science center deserved hands-on advertising we created a series of science experiments in print and through more unconventional media all over town. From showing old science movies on the side of a bank during the gallery walk, to creating and distributing science experiments in bags to local restaurants, we gave it our full court press and helped spectrUM have a truly grand opening. Today they are literally bulging at the seams with success.

This is a collection of front pages and special sections that I designed while at the Washington Times-Reporter.

 

Special section that highlighted a basketball tournament hosted by our local high school. Other than the basketball story itself, the execution of this package from photos to number to graphics, this project was mine from conception to publication. It was the first year the paper tried something like this after I approached the publisher with the idea.
