Felicia woke up sweating. Her heart raced and she had trouble breathing. This nightmare was the worst yet. Absolutely horrible.
In her dream, she was a musical actress. And as if this was not enough, she was apparently in the process of studying for the lead role in a musical based on a John Hughes movie. And, also apparently, she seemed to like it.
"This calls for a double shot", she thought.
Four fingers of Laphroaig later, sleep finally found her again. And this time, her imagination went the right way. She was still an actress, but this time it was the female lead in Machete 2. Now that is a movie worth dreaming about!
i saw this in the $5.50 bin at walmart today when looking for a movie for my dad for his birthday. since i only had the vhs version, i decided to upgrade for one of my fav. 80s movies.
andrew mccarthy is dreamy, dontcha think? back then i was like "drool" ... but have you seen him lately? man, time changes people! lol
this dvd has extra added bonus duckie features too! who can resist that? :)
Like Totally Awesomely Fun Baby Shower for my old friend, Kacie.
See, Kacie and I became friends in the 7th grade. Apparently she was too cool for me when she transferred into our 6th grade class. We were full-on children of the 80s and have the bad hair photos to prove it.
Kacie LOVED the movie "Pretty in Pink." When I say "love" I mean L-O-V-E-D. As in, saw it at the theater every day for solid week and then about 957 times after that.
So, naturally, when I found out she was having a girl and several other old Jr. High friends could attend the shower, it was a no-brainer to me to try and combine all those things into one sophisticated yet fun 80s baby shower. I know. 80s? Sophisticated? You're thinking oxymoron, too, eh?
Get your oversized glasses with the gold initial stickers in the corner on and take a gander at these. Just make sure you take that huge comb out of your back pocket before you sit on it.

Ok, I admit that this is a very undignified thing to do to poor Pedro... but I couldn't resist. He was sitting on the kitchen table and so was this pink feather boa that my daughter brought home from some crazy event at school.. .the pink striped Victoria's Secret bag in the background....it was all too irresistable!! haha!!! Thus the disgusted look on his face. Within minutes he was chewing the feathers and that was the end of it.
Sorry Pedro. I still love you!
