This is my Molly Ringwald doll I created from the classic movie, Pretty in pink! I recast a doll head that had similar facial features in lighter plastic, gave her new hair, sewed her 2 outfits from the movie, repainted her facial features, and gave her a new body. What do you think?

I was certainly noticed (and complimented) on my outfit, that's for sure.
Now, I just need to work on the hair a little bit more, and, of course, get some shoes with better support - Heels are nice, but cheap ones definitely show when it comes to how my feet feel. ^_^;

I planted this pink dogwood close to thirty years ago at the house I once lived in. It never had more than a bloom or two on it all the years I stayed there, and it just didn't grow despite all my efforts. In 1999 we moved to our current location, and since then, this little dogwood has been a beauty. It still isn't very tall, but it is usually filled with flowers in the early spring.
This year, I have a few pink "Ragged Lady" (also known as "Lady-in-a-Mist") wildflowers. Ever since I planted them years ago, they have always been blue.

A GMA Pink Punk Affair ...
I just purchased the new Project Mc2 Ember core doll. I love her! She is floppy, though. Her arms stay in place, but that's about it. Her socks are ADORABLE, but got a tiny pull or two in them from her rough edges. Her dress and the crop top underneath are attached at the velcro. The crop top is stretchy, the dress is not. This limits the kinds of dolls you can put it on. Made To Move, the new style original body*, the old original fashionistas body*, and the new model muse body don't fit in at all. Amelie looks pregnant in it. It didn't fit my Belle doll either. I didn't try it on curvy or tall, but I can guarantee you that it wouldn't fit.

I was inspired by my new Barbie Pool Chic doll to do a glam photo shoot. I guess this is set in the future, since Rose is wearing her B-day present from Weston.

I went to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers yesterday and did not expect to get this image of the beautiful Galah who was at a feeder. He thinks he is prettier than a flower anyway.

"Definitely Nancy!" came the reply.
I love this chubby little girl, and I love watching her grow up. She's actually very petite for her age, but in photos she just looks so chubby and roley poley! She's just hit 13 months, and this was from a mini session with her parents near Wollongong on the South Coast.
