I did my very first baby shoot today. Mom had so many wonderful props...and our little princess was very cooperative once she was fed! I used my Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 for this shoot...love this lens!

There are numerous tribal people of Rajasthan. Kalbeliya & Bopa, Rajasthani people are renowned as dancers, snake-charmers & musicians. Once they enjoyed the patronage of the Maharaja courts.
Now, some sell jewellery & hand-crafts & entertain tourists. They are still regarded poorly as low caste, semi-nomadic, 'gypsies', beggars.
However, recognition of Rajasthani folk music & dance is now undergoing revival.& recognition.
Scholars believe that the the Romani 'gypsies' of Europe are ethnically linked & migrated from NW India in medieval times.

Our TLC 'Pretty in Pink' range but in red, gold & cream! The two-tone rose swirls also look great in the collection.
Nasara chose 5 flavours - lemon, raspberry & white chocolate, chocolate, red velvet, and the top cake was vanilla!
I didn't get to do the setup so I assembled this at home to get a shot of them all as I thought they were a beautiful collection!
Hahaha.................... This was so much fun!!! :) Frank Scott Bunnell High School Class of "88" Senior Prom. LOL I knew I held on to all my 45's for a reason. Wonder if I still have that dress somewhere....Hmmmm
Part of a new photo shoot, and better shots of my "pretty in pink" outfit I wore a month ago up in Sacramento, CA
I had to go and tell the nice neighbour up the street that she now has a new pet....Max and I encountered her "black and white cat" while we were walking at 6:00 am this morning....namely a skunk living under her step (all I had stuck in my head after was "Postman Pat and his Black and White Cat" after I saw it LOL). I figured it was living under the step as when it saw Max and I (thank heavens I walk on the other side) after snacking on grubs and what not (the skunk not Max and I) on her front lawn it ski-daddled (yes that is a word...my mum and dad used to use it) under the concrete step where there was an opening.
There are some gorgeous flowering crab trees along the way so I couldn't help it...I had camera around neck while I went to do a public service and let her know.
Flowers just make you feel good and these really made me smile (plus the fact that my step has no openings for new pets!! LOL)
