In a quaint mood on a Saturday evening, we had the captivating idea to make a sunrise hike on the next morning. As the alarm went off at 2:30 AM, our bones felt to be tied to the bed – but hey, we had our plan! So, we got up, brushed our teeth, headed to the car and found lots of abandoned and empty streets on the way.
We left the car at the parking site at around 4:00 AM (even the ticket machine was still sleeping) in utter darkness, new moon had just passed the day before. We walked silently with our backpacks through the pitch-black forest, only the two small light cones of our headlamps revealed the next few steps. A sudden scream of a waking bird scared the hell out of us. A fragment of the lyrics of a famous Radiohead song immediately came to my mind...
Slowly, we made our way up, passing forests, mountain pastures and even some sleepless cows. Oh boy, even the sound of near cow bells is somehow scary in the dark – especially if you can’t really see the cow it belongs to. The second we saw the fence between the cows and us, both of us sighed with relief.
After a while of hiking, the first light of the day became visible, and as we turned our heads, we saw the dawn at the horizon. What a beauty!
As we arrived at the summit round about 6:00 AM, we could not quite believe our ears: there were voices! So we said Hello to three further sleepless souls, which got up even earlier. We did not expect that. By the way: greetings to our three young and funny fellow summiteers at this point! Nice to meet you =)
It was quite windy and cold at the summit, and sadly, a little cloudy. But finally, we saw the sun rising. A true feel-good moment!

The Motélon valley is a secluded gem. Access is difficult since it only has narrow roads reserved for rural access. Most of these roads are closed by the end of October with the first snow falls. The form of the high valleys is shaped by glaciers.

A poche centinaia di metri dal centro di Follina, adagiato ai piedi delle prealpi Venete, c’è la via San Giacomo che prende il nome dalla chiesetta dedicata per l’appunto all’apostolo. Dal poco che si sa sembra che l’abside della chiesetta è ciò che resta di una antica torre di avvistamento risalente ad epoca romanica, posta a difesa di un insediamento urbano o castro romano che sorgeva con molta probabilità dove ora sorge il Castelbrando. Sul lato sud, sono visibili i segni della porta di accesso alla torre ora parzialmente ostruita.

Il ponte della Priula sul fiume PIAVE
Geografia .
Ponte della Priula si estende all'estremità sud-ovest del comune di Susegana, in un'area pianeggiante sulla riva sinistra del Piave.
Storia
Sin dall'epoca romana questa zona ha rappresentato un punto nevralgico nei collegamenti stradali. Si ritiene che il ponte della Priula abbia quindi origini antichissime e vide il passaggio di numerosi eserciti invasori. Un tempo costruito in legno, fu distrutto e ricostruito più volte e venne bruciato dai Francesi nel 1807. Solo ai primi del Novecento fu rifatto in pietra e cemento. Gli ultimi gravi danneggiamenti risalgono alla Grande Guerra.
L'appellativo "della Priula" si riferisce ai patrizi veneziani Priuli che possedevano una Villa poco lontano

Come potete vedere, oggi visibilità estrema dai Colli euganei (con vista che spaziava dalle Prealpi Vicentine, Trevigiane, Piccole Dolomiti e Appennini Emiliani) con un vento che soffiava forte già da questa notte, e temperatura percepita dal corpo molto più bassa, rispetto a quella reale.

Le col de Saint- Raphaël (876m.) sur la D 2211A est une des portes d’entrée dans les Préalpes d’Azur depuis la vallée du Var et Puget-Théniers (8 km, 5,8 % de pente moyenne).
L’ascension réserve des panoramas splendides sur la vallée du Var et les contreforts du massif du Mercantour. Il s’agit d’un itinéraire très ancien et il existe d’ailleurs au col, un ancien lieu culturel attribué aux Ligures.
Il Pizzoc è un monte delle Prealpi Trevigiane. Raggiunge i 1.565 m d'altitudine, rappresentando uno dei punti più elevati del comune di Fregona e della provincia di Treviso, a cui appartiene. Sulla sommità del Monte Pizzoc si trova l'attuale Piazza della Pace, adibita a belvedere.

Due versanti s'innalzano sul fianco di una montagna essendo quasi paralleli. Il primo, quello della montagna, il più alto, è tuttavia roccioso, scabro e spoglio di vegetazione, almeno in apparenza. Il secondo, quello più basso di cui si scorgono soltanto i profili d'ombra proiettati della parete retrostante, è invece ispido d'alberi, ammantato di foresta. Sono due volti paralleli e complementari della montagna, che non cessa di affascinare in quanto frontiera della vita ..... ..

La pointe de Miribel est un sommet facile d'accès qui offre une vue imprenable à la fois sur le Chablais et le massif du Mont Blanc.
Miribel, en toponomie signifie "Belle vue". Ce parcours possède, en plus d'un panorama magnifique, un patrimoine religieux très étonnant. En 1774, la Pointe de Miribel reçu une croix de chêne. Dès lors, on venait en pélerinage de toutes les paroisses voisines. A la révolution, cette croix fût abattue. En 1808, apèrs un voeu formulé lors de la campagne de Russie, Joseph-Marie Félisaz, paysan de Villard, tailla sur place dix sept colonnes dans des blocs de marbre rouge qu'on lui apporta. Chaque colonne composant le calvaire de Miribel est surmontée d'une croix de fer. A la pointe, une statue de la vierge Marie. Encore aujourd'hui, de nombreux pélerins cheminent sur cet itinéraire lors de fêtes solennelles.
The Pointe de Miribel is an easy-to-reach summit offering breathtaking views of both the Chablais region and the Mont Blanc massif.
Miribel means "beautiful view" in toponomy. In addition to its magnificent panorama, this route boasts an astonishing religious heritage. In 1774, the Pointe de Miribel received an oak cross. From then on, pilgrims came from all the neighboring parishes. During the French Revolution, the cross was pulled down. In 1808, in response to a wish expressed during the Russian campaign, Villard farmer Joseph-Marie Félisaz carved seventeen columns from blocks of red marble brought to him. Each column of the Miribel Calvary is surmounted by an iron cross. At the top is a statue of the Virgin Mary. Even today, many pilgrims walk this route on solemn feast days.

Il monte Cesen è un massiccio delle prealpi venete, situato a al margine di nord-ovest della provincia di Treviso. È il primo rilievo che si incontra (andando verso est) dopo che il fiume Piave interrompe la catena montuosa, collegando la Valbelluna alla Pianura veneto-friulana. La sua vetta più alta è di 1.570 m s.l.m.
