Part of the path we have walked already.
At this point I am half way down from a summit called "Vorderer Kirchsein" (1.670 m).

Sunset 20251117
A veil of glowing cloud drifts lazily across the peaks,
as if the sky were tucking the earth into a gentle dream.
Shadows rise like slow tides,
yet the light refuses to surrender,
lingering in warm strokes along the ridges.
For a moment, the world seems to breathe in unison—
sky, rock, and fading day—
each holding the other in a quiet, golden embrace.

Above the clouds (Cima Carega) 20231017
Cima Carega is a mountain of the Venetian Prealps, Italy. It has an elevation of 2,259 meters.
Cima Carega is not a single mountain, but a broad massif. Especially from the north one can beautifully see the wide rock faces of this chain, and also towards the south, towards the hilly lower part of Lessinia, some mountain crests go.

Along the Road of 52 tunnels - Monte Pasubio 20220731
The "Road of 52 tunnels" or"Road of the First Army" is a military mule road built during World War I on the Pasubio massif in Veneto, Italy.
The road winds between Bocchetta Campiglia (1,216 meters and the Porte del Pasubio (1,934 meters crossing the southern slope of the mountain with its spires, deep canyons and sheer rock faces, outside of the range of Austro-Hungarian artillery.
It is 6,555 meters long, of which 2,280 meters are divided into 52 tunnels excavated from the rock, each tunnel is numbered and characterized by a particular name. The minimum width of 2.20 meters was originally intended to allow the transit of two mules with their baggage.
The Tunnel 20 is carved out of a rock tower, and to overcome the difference in height, twists around itself like a corkscrew. On leaving the 47th, the highest point of the road (2,000 meters, , there is a magnificent panorama.
Work began on February 6, 1917, and was completed in November 1917.

Cities of rock (Lessini mountain) 20231106
The Lessinia landscape observed from the outside has conspicuous surface (epigeal) karst phenomena: dolines, basins, sinkholes, monoliths, rock cities.
The best known surface phenomena are dolines and rock cities: the former are funnel- or bowl-shaped depressions, always related to tunnels, cavities or caves.
In contrast, the monoliths that give rise to rock cities are the result of erosion, mainly of meteoric water on the surface layer of Biancone and subsequent penetration into existing fissures in the Ammonitic Red.
