unfortunately, there's a reflection of my camera on it because i took it from my car, but it was starting to rain so i didn't want to stick my camera outside.
Going through external drives and found this complete shoot that I did not process - and it is almost 4 yrs. old. I need to try and shoot this again with the full frame.

Out yesterday morning with the birthday boy ianbartlett for a 9 mile circular walk from Robertsbridge.
As we all want power, we have to have the power lines, and so they are just as much part of the landscape as the trees.
This is one of my favorite local places to shoot at night. No house lights or street lights, just the occasional local traffic. I saw several meteors before the cloud cover came in, but my camera never seemed to be pointed in the right direction.
After a nap tonight, I will attempt again.

The area around Backworth village was once criss-crossed with a complex network of industrial railways linking the many collieries in the area with the docks on the banks of the Tyne.

In a similar fashion to a musical staff, the moon appears as a note between staff lines. The powerlines serve as a visual double-entendre. Taken on a cold morning in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

This 600 shot was done with Impossible's Instant Lab, then bathed for 1 week in a soup of chemicals (bleach, alcohol, detergent), then left 1 more week in plain water.
