The municipalities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area have been very active in converting areas that have no commercial or residential value into parks and greenways. Many of these paths and parks connect together to provide a convenient and safe way to walk or bike to much of the metro area. This greenway in Addison, Texas is built along the right-a-way of a major power line.

Diese 220 kV Leitung Wolkramshausen- Vieselbach wurde erst kurz vor der Wende gebaut, 1988 eingeweiht, und soll nun im neuen BBPIG .(Bundesbedarfsplangesetz) demnächst durch eine nagelneue 380 kV Leitung ersetzt werden (BBPIG Nummer 44), ebenso die Verbindung zwischen Wolkranshausen nach Bad Lauchstädt Bei der neuen Linienführung soll auf jedenfall das Seengebiet um Stotternheim weitgehend umgangen werden.
