I always have hope that I might see a meteor shower or Northern Lights if I go to this spot. I haven't been able to time it right as of yet, but I still enjoy the attempt. The closest darkest place that I can think of.
Just a few minutes ago, one of my neighbors knocked on my door to let me know there was a big beautiful rainbow up in the sky. So cool that they know that I would totally dig this.

In the downtown area, a lot of the poles are on the corner, which makes them prone to being smashed. That's what happpened to the second one.

One of the lakes at the River Lee Country Park near Cheshunt, with the new Bittern information point and hide and its observation tower visible just right of centre.
The old pole crossarm was replaced years ago by the double metal one. These double metal ones look to be made from C-channel.
Mustikkamaa (the name of this island) in Finnish translates to blueberry land. It is a nice place to experience nature within the city.
