Really liked the clouds when I saw them this afternoon after leaving work. The powerlines ripping through them was kinda cool too, nice lines. Also gave me a chance to have a go of my new circular polarizing filter for my new Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 that this was shot with (at 82mm per filter they don't come cheap!).
This was the closest I could get to one of Cleco's newer H-Frame designs. The one on the left is the newer one, with a metal crossarm, but the supports are only in the middle.

Steel poles in the median that double as lamp poles. These are mainly in the Space Center Area of Houston.
A flock of starlings on the power lines in Dublin, Ohio, around dusk against the typical Ohio winter overcast.
These used to go over the interstate, but they changed them to risers when they started widening I-10.
The crossarms were replaced by these insulators a few years ago. The poles are still substandard though.
