Really liked the clouds when I saw them this afternoon after leaving work. The powerlines ripping through them was kinda cool too, nice lines. Also gave me a chance to have a go of my new circular polarizing filter for my new Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 that this was shot with (at 82mm per filter they don't come cheap!).

This was the closest I could get to one of Cleco's newer H-Frame designs. The one on the left is the newer one, with a metal crossarm, but the supports are only in the middle.

This looks to be a 230kv and (Tall Pylon on the right) 115kv (H-Frame structure in the middle) Transmission Lines. And a 34.5kv Sub-Transmission over 12.47kv Distribution (The small lines to the left). Outside of Zion, IL in Wadsworth, IL.

Steel poles in the median that double as lamp poles. These are mainly in the Space Center Area of Houston.

It astonishes me how long this line runs through the city, and Entergy just abandoned it.

One of the oddest shared poles in the city.

One of the only two high voltage lines in Lafayette that belong to LUS.

A flock of starlings on the power lines in Dublin, Ohio, around dusk against the typical Ohio winter overcast.

These used to go over the interstate, but they changed them to risers when they started widening I-10.

Major lean on the next one.

These aren't that common around here. I found this on the older side of town.

Now it belongs to Cleco since Cleco bought Teche coop out in the 90's
