National Grid (Niagara Mohawk) single phase delta circuit that utilizes "armless" ("a/k/a candlestick") brackets for the conductors with an older style 5kV spec CSP transformer, in Eagle Point Park, Eagle Bay NY
The transformers used to power the old water tower in town until it was torn down. I don't know what the lower one was all about.
I think this one was built back when GSU was in the transition to Entergy, which explains it's awkward look. Entegy didn't change any of these until the very late 90's.
Powerlines located on Upper Hartlebury Common, Worcs.
The bright coloured tower is actually a fairground ride.
this powerpole transfomer was on fire so thy let it sat then they replaced the pole i getanother photo of the new one
Looks like they changed crossarms and finally fixed the lean on these poles, although there are no brace poles or new guy wires. Many of the old insulators were reused on the new arms
At one time, Slemco actually ran Opelousas's power grid. These poles were obviously built during that time by Slemco.
Underground lines are becomming more popular. I think Slemco makes it cheap since lots of their customers go this route.
12KV LUS/4KV Entergy. Very few customers are still on the Entergy circuit. This setup is because both circuits cross the road here.
Powerlines located on Private Road near Doverdale Lane, Doverdale near Hampton Lovett, Droitwich Spa.
These all look bent, leaning or warped. However, this area is so close to the Gulf that these all take direct hits when a hurricane comes ashore.
