The Atlona 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switcher with RS-232 and IR Remote is designed to work as a switcher for multiple sources and displays. I carefully unscrewed the terminals remembering:
(1) Which white cable went where (1-from the pedal, 1-from the mains plug going to the wall).
(2) That the BLUE/NEUTRAL cables are wired to the outside 2-terminals.
(3) That my BROWN/LIVE cables are wired to the central terminal in the middle.
I only removed 1-cable from the terminals at a time, so that I wouldn't get mixed up putting them back!
PLEASE NOTE: Other styles,makes and types of power cable may be wired-up differently than my one (pictured above).
The Power cord that comes bundled with the Box, Indian Consumers will need to use a Power Adapter Convertor Plug to conver this to the India Socket.
I rarely get the chance to catch the sunrise but every now and then my body will decide that getting up at 0400AM or earlier for no discernible reason is 'what we’re doing today!'. So I went to do some ‘mirin of the Croydon skyline and also took some dodgy photos on my phone.
The edges (especially on cables and power lines) always come out oversharp - there seems to be some unsharp filter built into the S5’s native camera app that I can’t turn off and that I have not worked out how to properly correct for in post :'(

MEASURING THE NEW CABLE
I popped the new cable through the plastic casing. I pulled it through until it was the same length as the old cable (I held the old cut-off blue cable up next to it).
If in doubt I added an extra 5- 10mm for wiggle room (as it’s easier to trim it off later!).
