Looks like she is looking into the distance and enjoying the view ?

Drying is part of the process in making batik, to make it easy they spread the wet fabric in the open space/land available in their neighborhood.
Here they do it on the river side. They throw the fabric to spread and dry it. With the bright sunlight and wind it dry fast
Save time and save energy :))
Happy New Year 2018, all the best wishes to my Flickr friends
Greetings from Solo, Indonesia.
The guy's name is Daliman
Accepting it's much more different from my normal daytime HTT postings, I thought you'd appreciate seeing another spectacular sunset from three weeks ago.
Took this shot at 21.30pm on Friday 14th June 2021 from the front of my home looking towards the village of Llysfaen and beyond the North Wales Coast - using a Tamron 28-300mm lens and a polarising filter to mitigate the glare.
Very much hope you are all still keeping safe and well too!
We spotted this Little Owl perched high on a power cable as we drove along a country road. Taken in Spain.
Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fave my images.
An (almost) contemporary image taken in early autumn last year catches DB Cargo's Maritime-livered Shed, 66162 'Maritime Intermodal Five', starting away from the High-Peak quarry complex with the 1.07pm Dowlow - Ashburys (6H52) loaded aggregate.
Now single-track this line was once part of the cross country route from Buxton to Ashbourne, as well as the Cromford and High Peak Railway (C&HPR), which joined the line at Parsley Hay a few miles south of this spot.
The former, boasting the delightful station name of Thorpe Cloud along its route, closed to regular passenger services in 1954 and closed totally in 1963. The latter hung on a few years longer, helped by local quarry traffic, before closing in 1967.
Happily both routes were converted to walking / cycle paths (the Tissington Trail and Cromford & High Peak Trail respectively) and make for a fabulous day out in any weather with plenty of industrial and railway architecture and great views to keep everyone happy.
In this shot, the driver is just powering up after negotiating his train over the pointwork in the complex, and now has a steady run downhill into Buxton where a reversal will be required. On the left is the fixed distant signal board - which I've snapped on several occasions but none of the attempts have yet made it on to Flickr for one reason or another, until now that is.
I decided to frame the image around the tall tree whose structural elegance, I thought, deserved to be centre of attention. Sun-on-the-front lovers might want to move along!

seen in Thailand, but also everywhere else in Southeast Asia!

A very young white faced heron (having a bad hair day) without a care in the world.
HAPPY WINGS WEDNESDAY!
Taken from Waterloo Lane, Kingsley, during a daily exercise last year.
A break from trains, and I like the clean lines offered. I also thought the pylons brought a dose of northern realism, so opted not to clone them out.

Macro shot of a copper power cable with lots of shallow dof from the 36mm extension tube. Wanted to try a possible abstract.
See you on May 24, o' virtual Flickr friends! Comments turned off, I think ;)
The cable crosses the street between our house and neighbor's house.

A local, now living in Hawaii, told me that she doesn’t even notice these power lines. For me, it was one of the most dominant features. The building with a “P” is a multistory car park. I guess it has about 12 floors, no windows and a lift takes the cars up to the parking decks. The floor space is not much bigger than a car.
I needed a rest after this sketch.
I was out on Christmas eve in the misty conditions and came across the disappearing lines to a Pylon in the mist.
I have a single photo of the pylon out of shot,on right to upload another time.
A bit different i thought.
Down on the allotments we have a flock of starlings who love to hang around on the power cables that run right through the middle. They are a right bunch of noisy Scallys, always up to some mischief or other, and they seem to enjoy using the wires as a vantage point ot see what is going on.
On this particular morning it had been raining overnight and the low cloud was just beginning to break up, and it was catching the rising sun in a quite spectacular way.
